Beautifuly furnished house ,perfect for a weekend with friends. We had everything we needed. The hot tub was well maintained & just what we needed to relax. Jo was a friedly & very helpful host ,I would recomend anyone to come & stay at this beautiful peaceful location . Thank you for a lovley weekend at you tranquil home .

We had a great stay at Edward's place. We were a large family group meeting up for New years. The house has lots of character, and is set in beautiful surroundings. The only things I would say that could do with improving would be using one of the rooms as a social space as the kitchen isn't big enough for cooking. eating and socialising. Also, some of the matresses weren't as comfortable as I would hope for which didn't make for a great night's sleep. But overall, it's a lovely house and the host is very welcoming and reaponsive. I would definitely recommend this place for others to stay in.

We have recently returned from staying at this amazing house. Fantastic layout and perfect for a large family or as a group as there are plenty of areas you can go and relax without feeling on top of each other. The garden is huge and clean! It’s enclosed so perfect for dogs. The zip wire was fun , also has a basket ball net and an area for football. The hot tub is amazing ! Initially we expected a very long wait to get it to temperature however we were stunned to find it to temp within an hour and aslong as you keep the lid on after using it then the following day takes about 20 mins to get up and running. The house was spotless, plenty of tvs, Xboxes , Netflix, board games , books the lot. There is no way anybody can complain about what you get with this house. Even including tea,coffee and condiments which is very rare. Beautiful location and an amazing fish and chop shop around the corner. Perfect for visiting York and areas in the northeast. Fantastic stay ,we loved it!

A lovely girls weekend away for our friends 40th birthday weekend. Fabulous hot tub, a wonderful layout with lots of space to sit, chat and eat and drink. Lucy was a fabulous host, very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Due to the remote location there is lots of wildlife, light sleepers were woken early, but had no problems the second night once we’d sourced some ear plugs! It didn’t taint a wonderful stay! Booked last minute and the host, Caroline, was very quick to respond and help me. We had a 50th birthday celebration, the house was great for a large number of guests and the lodge was excellent for our party. We especially liked the hot tub. We had a great stay, thank you.

A lovely lodge in a beautiful and peaceful site. The lodge was well kept and comfortable - we felt right at home straight away. Only regret is not staying longer!

Richard & Kim provided very informative written guides on anything one might need or like to do while staying at their lovely cottage. They looked after details in the cottage in a way that shows care and love. They even made us a handmade jam! It was our first visit to Yorkshire and they made it a memorable one. We had a comfortable stay that we enjoyed so much.

Brilliant location and size. The property was very clean and the William and Ashleigh were very helpful and understanding.

We had a lovely weekend at the cottage, booked as we had plans in the local area. It is a lovely quiet location seemingly in the middle of nowhere. What comes with this is a drive down down a long track which was intersting in the pitch black as we arrived late! The converted barn looks out into a small courtyard, on which the horses are stabled in the adjacent side. The size was perfect for our family of 4, with the 2 kids in a twin on one side of the lounge/kitchen and us in a double on the other side. Phillipa sent excellent instructions on how to get there which were helpful when arriving in the dark, even though we had it on GoogleMaps. We would definitely come back.

Another successful stay so we could visit our newest grandchild nearby. Lovely home and surroundings only drawback was avoiding the recent large potholes in the drive.

Had a lovely stay, made to feel welcome by Pauline and Graham, the nicest couple you could ever meet. They thought of everything you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable and even included lovely treats as a bonus. Fabulous surroundings with great safe enclosed paddock for our 2 collies to run around, truelly home from home, we will be back next year, already booked, Thankyou so much ☺️

2 adults and 2 dogs had a great stay in the Cow Shed. Pre-stay communication was great, check in was a breeze, Christina was friendly and available. The stay was in a great location for us to explore west and north Yorkshire. The Cow Shed was clean, warm and cozy and had everything we needed. The dogs loved the garden and we're fascinated by the goats and chickens too. Our only reservation is the proximity of the A1. Noise inside the stay was absolutely not an issue but outside there is the constant background hum of the motorway.

Perfect location to switch off with great views and plenty of privacy whilst being brilliantly situated to explore the local towns and walks. Really friendly and flexible host. I'll will certainly stay again when back in the area.

We had a wonderful stay! The house is spacious with special touches that made our stay feel extra comfortable. The location was perfect, allowing us easy access to everything we wanted to explore. James was exceptionally accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. He made our experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Philippa's place was absolutely ideal for our short Town-break! An easy stroll into the centre with cosy pubs and bars along the way, and a fantastic choice of restaurants in the Town itself!

I can not recommend this wonderful holiday home enough. I don’t think I have ever stayed anywhere that has been as spotlessly clean. The house is beautifully and simply furnished, with everything you need for a few days away. The location was perfect and very quiet considering how closely located it is to the centre of York. Paul and Kerry were so helpful and responsive. Check in was really easy. 10/10 all round!

Darren and Matt were both extremely accommodating and the apartment couldn't have been better. The location was perfect, plenty of space in the apartment and a nice balcony to sit out on as well! If I was to stay in Leeds again, I would 100% book this apartment again.

Very enjoyable stay at Dave’s place , which is an a pleasant quiet suburb of York. The sights of York are easily accessible, but the location was great because it was away from the centre and nice and quiet.

What a wonderful place to stay. Everything was perfect, right from the very clear and responsive communication with Caroline, through to the ease to find/park and get into the property. Once inside it was evident that the place was clean, well maintained and stocked with essentials, located on a quiet road (with own parking space\) a very shot (15 minute) walk into central York. The house was exactly as advertised and was a wonderful place to explore from - our girls loved the small touches around books/games in their room and the open plan living/kitchen and dining space. Their were recommendations and helpful information around for us to review/read, which was very useful. So many nice 'touches' made the whole stay very enjoyable. Thank you, Caroline - we will be back.

Stayed for an event in Leeds so didn't spend any time in the local area, although it looked like the village centre and eateries within easy walking distance. Sally was a great host, being very approachable and on hand if needed.

Great weekend stay and perfectly located for shops, food etc. Had an issue with a lamp blowing the kitchen fuse. Bill couldn't have been more responsive if he had tried and had this sorted so everything was working within minutes. Absolutely perfect hosts and would definitely stay again
