Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Acomb

Just what was needed, a comfortable stay in this area. House was spotless and our request to park early due to attending a funeral was granted immediately. Great Airbnb service, thank you.

We were only there for one night for a girls' reunion, but the house suited us perfectly. Lots of space, great location and very walkable into the centre of York and beautifully decorated with nice touches. Charlotte was ways very helpful if we had queries. Would definitely stay here again if we were back in York.

We had a lovely very last minute stay here and it was just what we needed, comforcomfortable beds, cosy feel, warm, lovely throughout, fluffy bath towels. Really well renovated you can see the pride in the work they've put in. Will definitely come back again.

We had a lovely stay at The Salt House. The cottage was pristine, very welcoming and tastefully furnished. We were greeted with home made bread, butter, eggs and a cosy log burner. The cottage had everything that was needed for a perfect stay. The peaceful surroundings and lovely views made it such a perfect stay for us.

Great place, clean and well presented and walkable distance to town

Vicki’s place was ideal for our trip to York—just a stone’s throw from the walls, quiet, and really cosy and warm. The house had everything we needed, but Vicki went the extra mile to make sure we were all set, especially for our 10-month-old! It was super easy to find and park, and she was incredibly flexible and helpful with check-in and check-out. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area!

One of the best places we have ever stayed in for one of our regular meets. The heated swimming pool was the main reason we chose it. It was also very spacious, clean and in a great location. Will be back soon!

Our stay was perfect. The location is amazing, right in the heart of York and a short walk to York Minster, which we did every day to “check on her”! Eating places and pubs all close by and in the same street too. Just a wonderful experience in this beautiful medieval city. Highly recommend. And on a clear day you can see York Minster through the roof windows which was delightful.

This was our second stay in Martin and Carmens lovely apartment and will definitely book again when we’re in Leeds. Wonderful friendly hosts and very comfortable and quiet place to stay with easy access to the centre of Leeds and surrounding areas.

The Airbnb was so well equipped and had so many lovely thoughtful touches - we felt immediately at home and had the best x2 nights sleeps! We had an amazing relaxing stay at Karen's cottage! The cottage was absolutely beautiful, with fantastic facilities that made our stay feel so comfortable. The cottage was immaculately clean and beautifully designed, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that truly felt like home. Karen went above and beyond, even putting up a lovely happy birthday banner. She also left dog treats out for our puppy! I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ripon.
