Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Acomb

Location was just perfect for our visit to First Direct Arena -10 minutes away. Plenty of bars & takeaways near but the apartment was really quiet & peaceful. The only downside was no WiFi connection meant TV wasn’t available, we could have messaged but didn’t and that was our choice. Apartment was really clean & we both slept well.

Communication with Ben was excellent. The apartment, with secure parking, was accurately described and ideally suited our needs during the short break in York. We would certainly recommend the accommodation to others and will look to using it for future visits if available.

We had a lovely stay, everything was clean and comfortable. So close to York railway station which made it really easy with our bags. A nice easy walk into the centre of York too, the sainsburys local just around the corner was great for getting our essentials in too. We would definitely recommend staying here.

I stayed with 4 friends at this apartment for a long weekend. The host was very responsive up to the date of check-in, asking if we wanted double beds or split single beds, and also provided lots of information for getting into the property, local amenities and directions. The place itself is great - really clean with all the basics you would need for a long weekend. It's also an easy 15 mins walk into the center of York and 5 or so mins from the train station so ideally located and easy to use as a base. Thanks for a great stay.

Can’t speak highly enough of the accommodation. The Yorkshire Hosts upgraded us to a bigger unit due to some heating issues in the booked rooms, prior to us arriving. The unit was absolutely beautiful, a home away from home over the Christmas break. It is in a fantastic location in walking distance to everything including the city center. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks!

This is a modern flat on the ground floor. Monk Bar is about 5 minutes walk away so very easy access to York city centre. The flat is very well appointed, and cosy and warm. We arrived in a hail storm and it was lovely to dry off and have a cup of tea (with complementary biscuits!) My only concern is that you have to be very careful when checking out - making sure that you have left the correct keys in the flat, another key in the lock box, but also to get your car out of the car park before leaving the fob in the flat and then take the gate code with you so you can re-join your car! Carole makes all this perfectly clear in her instructions - but you do need to think about and plan what you are doing quite carefully.

Beautifuly furnished house ,perfect for a weekend with friends. We had everything we needed. The hot tub was well maintained & just what we needed to relax. Jo was a friedly & very helpful host ,I would recomend anyone to come & stay at this beautiful peaceful location . Thank you for a lovley weekend at you tranquil home .

A great place to stay to explore York, a 20/25 min walk along the river to the a city centre but it’s a beautiful walk! House had everything we needed and was clean and tidy and comfortable. We struggled a bit with street parking but other than that it was a great stay!

This was the perfect place to stay in York. Peaceful area and really easy to walk into town. The house is lovely and has everything you need, Jim was a great host and gave us really good instructions and advice for our stay. We would definitely reccomend, and would stay here again if we come back to York !

Amy and Oliver - I actually have no words for how amazing this place was! I first put it in my wishlist a long while back and somehow stumbled upon it again to stay for the first time this weekend. My family and I were completely amazed at absolutely everything - every detail and the handiwork you have both put into this place is just immaculate. I’m so grateful I was able to find this place - it was so homely, so clean, absolutely stunning, the most equipped place we’ve stayed in and so much more. My only complaint is that we wish we stayed LONGER! I hope you will continue to keep your home open as it’s an amazing place to stay - we hope to be back (and perhaps with others who haven’t been blessed to see it yet). Thank you for everything you supplied us with this weekend - we were fascinated by everything and we are still talking about the home now that we’re home! This Airbnb was even better than expected. The location is amazing if you are wanting somewhere central but quiet. It is such a lovely base. On arrival, all the lights were on, it looked pristine and there were some lovely goodies on the side. The beds looked like hotel beds and everything was clean and tidy. We stayed in February so could not make the most of the little secluded garden space. Next time! I would highly recommend!

Perfect property & location as we were visiting family in Harrogate. The coach house is very spacious, clean and well equipped. Lovely welcome basket of goodies & bubbly. Annalisa very helpful with instructions and information of local eateries. Would definitely return. Gillian, Mark and woofies

Me and my family absolutely loved our stay. The apartment was just as described, and very neat and tidy. We had very clear instructions about every aspect of the stay, and the place is in a n excellent position to visit York city centre.

We were visiting family very close by and needed a place to stay as a base. This was perfect for us. Check in was easy, instructions and info provided was helpful and really appreciated having some milk in the fridge for tea when we arrived. + Had a great day out in Saltaire at the converted mill which I’d highly recommend if visiting the area too. Local history, Art, excellent book store, amazing home store and good dining options.

I booked a weekend at Diane’s place for my parents, they had nothing but wonderful things to say, the space was spotless & the welcome gifts was highly appreciated, thank you. mum FaceTimed me showing me round & the place looked exactly like photos, my parents loved it. They went out to eat & drink at Omni & loved the vibe in there, they also visited the market & said it was great (they brought me back some gorgeous cannolis) They said it was right up their street, thank you Diane for the fab weekend of peace & quiet away from the grandkids ! I would recommend Diane’s place to anyone looking to visit Malton x

Had a lovely stay here - beautiful apartment in an interesting building, very walkable to York centre, and parking was a bonus in a city centre! Would come and stay again.

Great host, great place we’ve now stayed here twice because we loved it so much the first time. Always feels like home away from home always so clean and tidy. A lovely walk along the canal into the center and shops and restaurants near by. Wonderful place to stay x
