Cottage vacation rentals in Amsterdam

What an amazing place to stay it with kids, there was so much space around the lodge which all felt really safe to let them explore different activities. There was a quite a few groups there but it was never noisy or overcrowded. The lodges were really cool and different to what we stayed in previously, it did go a little cold one of the nights we were there but they were still comfortable and nice (you can rent heaters if needed). We would 100% come back in the future if we travel that way again. We went for a trip to Amsterdam which was easy to get to and Sprookjeswonderland which I would recommend too with children under 6/7

We had a great stay in Esther and Marc's cottage. Beautifully furnished with such attention to detail. It had everything you needed for a short break. The view over the water in the sunshine and the sunsets were lovely. Friendly restaurant with good food just at the end of the road. Beach, villages and towns within easy reach. Hot tub in the garden and a canoe and bikes at your disposal and a delicious breakfast brought to your door. Highly recommended 👌

What a wonderful stay! We were very warmly welcomed. The area is really beautiful and so blissfully quiet. Ideal place to relax for a while. Very nice cottage also with everything on and off.

We had a nice stay at the cottage. Positive points: - Hottub - the spaces - the nice view - clear communication Work items: - not all pots/pans/... were equally clean. In short, we definitely recommend this stay! We loved our days here. And everything was to our liking. Definitely worth it!

We had a nice night in Karel's cottage. In the cottage there was everything we needed and it was tidy and clean. It was quick and easy to communicate with Karel. We have experienced him as a very hospitable and friendly host! Certainly subject to repetition.

Angelique is a super host, very responsive and on hand if you need anything answered or help with directions etc. I have not encountered a better air bnb host :-) The water cottage is peaceful and restful and has everything you need. For Amsterdam you must be either prepared to drive or happy to walk just over 1.3 miles into the town. Its a 45 min bus into Amsterdam which is pretty regular or you can drive 15 mins to a train station and make your way in from there. We had no problem with this at all but some might be put off. However the location and quiet peace by the water was super and worth it!

A wonderful week. What a kind, friendly and lovely family. We were very lucky with beautiful Spring weather and spend most of the week outside. Forests, the dunes and beach are all nearby and it was very peaceful to sit in the private, south-facing garden, enjoying the sun. The house is cosy and has everything you need. Great local shops with a wide choice of food and delicatessen and places to eat out or take away. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness. Monty the dog says hello and thank you too.

Geraldine created a home from home feeling. The little house is beautiful and you will find everything you need. And it is decorated so beautiful. We really enjoyed staying there and will be back again. The beach is just a stroll away. This is a real gem.

Our stay was simply all around beautiful and successful. Our rented cottage was exactly as described and very clean and tidy. There was nothing missing and the surroundings, especially the garden was very nice in the countryside. The landlady was very friendly and accommodating and dogs are allowed and welcome. (The garden is bordered by and great for dogs) All in all, it was a beautiful 3 days, even in bad weather we could spend a nice day in the house comfortably. We will be happy to come back.

We felt very comfortable at the place and enjoyed the tranquility there very much. Ideal starting point for great hikes in the Dune National Park and beautiful cities nearby. Crazy, you're on the beach or shopping. Great was the garden, which is fenced, this was great since we were there with a dog. It was nice that a delicious bottle of wine was ready 🍷 for us to welcome us. All in all a really great place to stay in beautiful surroundings. Mini point deduction may be the bathroom, so you should just not expect a luxury bathroom but small and practical, but other than that there's really nothing to complain about. Very beautiful place peaceful relaxing

I had a nice time at Anja and Hans's cottage. It didn't feel "tiny" at all and everything was definitely to your liking. You will definitely relax in this location and the deer complete it. Anja and Hans were super nice and made sure everything was clear from start to finish. I'd definitely be back again!

We had a fantastic weekend! Nice welcome with drinks and some treats so we immediately had a vacation feeling. Beautiful, quiet area and an incredibly friendly host. The apartment was sparkling clean and equipped with all the comforts. We enjoyed the fireplace and hope to come back again!

It was sooo nice at Maartje's place! We felt like at home from the first moment. Everything is so lovingly decorated and the view from the living area is beautiful. We will definitely be back ☺️

It was cold the week I was there, but the place is easy to heat. I felt comfortable in the cottage because of the cozy decor, the unobstructed view, and the location near the forest, the dunes and the beach, but also within cycling distance of the center. Ben was really friendly and helpful. I really recommend this cottage.

It’s a very nice relaxing stay, very nice people, and just a train ride away from Amsterdam.

Nice, complete house. Nice outside space. if weather is nice really enjoyable to sit outside. A quiet 'park' on which the chalet is situated. Kids can play outside, the access road to the chalet can only be reached by foot. Kitchen well equipped. Sufficient bedlinen, towels etc. Good dishwasher and washing machine. Marion responds quickly and accommodates where she can. All in all a nice place and a good starting point to see rural North Holland with close proximity to Alkmaar and Amsterdam. And to sea/beach/dunes/forest!
