Cottage vacation rentals in Amsterdam

What an amazing place to stay it with kids, there was so much space around the lodge which all felt really safe to let them explore different activities. There was a quite a few groups there but it was never noisy or overcrowded. The lodges were really cool and different to what we stayed in previously, it did go a little cold one of the nights we were there but they were still comfortable and nice (you can rent heaters if needed). We would 100% come back in the future if we travel that way again. We went for a trip to Amsterdam which was easy to get to and Sprookjeswonderland which I would recommend too with children under 6/7

Jokelien and her partner were kind, thoughtful, and enjoyable hosts. The house is situated in a peaceful and beautiful place, they anticipated many things we didn't even know that we needed. The property was charming, clean, and wonderfully located. They had recommendations which made our visit smooth, comfortable and special. Highly recommended!

Our recent stay was for 4 nights, but we wished we had booked longer. The property was very clean, very modern and had parking that was safe and easy to find. after the long drive the hot tub was hot and lovely to relax in! We loved that the property was accommodating for animals and we immediately felt at home with the very friendly hosts. we would definitely stay again.

The cottage is exactly as shown in the pictures and super convenient for families with small children. The garden and the bath tub are a dream and you have many, great Excursion destinations. We will be super happy to come back! Kind regards from Germany.

Wow! Nor and Mat’s cottage was the perfect escape. The most comfortable stay with picturesque views. The home was immaculate, and Nor and Mat have thought of everything—including toys and crafts for our 3 year old. Their communication and instructions were great, too. The location was wonderful too—a short drive to many restaurants and stores while still quiet and peaceful. We loved our time there!

John's place was lovely. We have what we need. A great place for family gateway. My little ones wished to stay longer!

Had a very nice stay. Good communication with Richard to enter the cottage (he was still on vacation himself). Very clean cottage with all the comforts. Beautiful large garden with views and lots of tranquility. In the summer it seems wonderful to come back here. A double bed is on the landing and this space cannot be locked. With slightly older children, that is easy to do, but given the bed is on an open staircase, I do not recommend this for very young children. Or you have to sleep under a very sloping wall as parents. Underfloor heating was very pleasant. We had a great time in the area! Thank you Richard!

Angelique is a super host, very responsive and on hand if you need anything answered or help with directions etc. I have not encountered a better air bnb host :-) The water cottage is peaceful and restful and has everything you need. For Amsterdam you must be either prepared to drive or happy to walk just over 1.3 miles into the town. Its a 45 min bus into Amsterdam which is pretty regular or you can drive 15 mins to a train station and make your way in from there. We had no problem with this at all but some might be put off. However the location and quiet peace by the water was super and worth it!

We were in the Netherlands for the tulip blossom and were super satisfied with the accommodation. Our hosts were always available and friendly. We are more than happy to recommend the accommodation. Thank you again!

We had a great weekend. Very peaceful place, we disconnect completely . Frogs and birds were singing. We have the company of some ducks in the morning on the dock 😍 The setting is manifest. When checkout time arrives, you don't want to leave. Beautiful walk around the polders and possibility to take a boat ride. Frédérica is very welcoming and speaks French very well. Don't hesitate, if you love nature and tranquility.

Very nice little cabin with a small garden, so you can also sit outside in sunny weather. The bathroom is super nice and there is everything you need overall. For us, a big plus was that dogs are allowed:) You could easily walk to the nearest park where dogs are allowed and there were great instructions from the hosts. During the day there is a little more traffic on the street, so you can hear the cars, but in the evening everything is quiet and idyllic and if you walk and are only around the corner, you also have a lot of peace and quiet. There are 2 cottages of the hosts, so you can choose the location well. The exchange was always very friendly :) gladly again.

We had a wonderful week here. We stayed here with 3 people. The house is in a very quiet location, is very nicely decorated. We didn't miss anything. We felt very comfortable here. We also found the personal welcome very pleasant. You can walk to the center in about 10 minutes. You can do great bike rides here or hike through the dunes. The beaches are fantastic. Frank is a very nice host. We can fully recommend this place and would be happy to come back.

Were warmly welcomed, Ilonka was always very helpful, friendly. We were even able to chat with her in German and she recommended us really good restaurants and attractions. You can also get along with a train connection. The tiny was so cozy, we felt so comfortable!

We stayed 6 nights in Esther's cozy cottage. We particularly liked the cleanliness and quality of the beds. We also didn't miss anything in terms of amenities. Esther was very friendly, always easy to reach has responded to our questions and requests at all times. Thank you again, we thoroughly enjoyed the stay and maybe see you again soon! :)

Very beautiful place peaceful relaxing

I had a nice time at Anja and Hans's cottage. It didn't feel "tiny" at all and everything was definitely to your liking. You will definitely relax in this location and the deer complete it. Anja and Hans were super nice and made sure everything was clear from start to finish. I'd definitely be back again!

What a wonderful stay we had in this very nice cottage. Wonderful atmosphere, beautiful decor and nice wan the water. Everything was present and clean. The beds (and linens) were fantastic. We had very nice days and will definitely be back.

We loved the tapuit for 4 nights. Located in the friendly village of Greet. The hosts Ineke and Roel are very friendly and helpful people. We felt immediately comfortable. The area is very easy to explore by bike. Recommended. Restaurants, supermarket at walking distance. A short walk directly into nature, the Schoorl dunes. Beach easy to reach by bike and car. Lots of choice of beach strikes. In short, great place. Had luck with 4 days of nice weather and beautiful flower bulb fields.

We stayed with Ben for two weeks in connection with our renovation and we enjoyed it! Despite the renovation crowds, it felt like a mini vacation. Our 2.5-year-old son was able to play in the garden and everything was present in the house for a carefree stay. Ben's hospitality was fantastic and we felt at home straight away. Thank you!

Nice, complete house. Nice outside space. if weather is nice really enjoyable to sit outside. A quiet 'park' on which the chalet is situated. Kids can play outside, the access road to the chalet can only be reached by foot. Kitchen well equipped. Sufficient bedlinen, towels etc. Good dishwasher and washing machine. Marion responds quickly and accommodates where she can. All in all a nice place and a good starting point to see rural North Holland with close proximity to Alkmaar and Amsterdam. And to sea/beach/dunes/forest!
