“Our month long dream trip to Argentina was cancelled, so we decided to pack our bags and head for the next best thing within driving distance of Glasgow. Mya's place is truly spectacular. When we first arrived Mya checked us in and showed us around the property. We couldn't believe our eyes. Not only was the property sparkling clean but the view is completely jaw-droppping. Views from the whole cabin are stunning - the water of Sheildaig loch, the snowcapped hills of Torridon and the woodland surrounding the property. On our first night at Mya's we sat in darkness watching the most amazing starlight sky over our heads. With absolutely no light pollution we were completely in awe of the amount of stars we could see. The layout, decor, privacy and overall vibe of Mya's cabin is truly outstanding. The log burner was a really welcome addition to feel cosy on a typical Scottish evening in March. The kitchen is well equipped to allow you to prepare all your meals as though you were in your very own kitchen. The nespresso machine and milk frother were a lovely touch also. Beds are super comfy. There were only two of us staying but the two rooms and adjacent bathrooms, and spacious living area make it a perfect space for 4 adults to relax and enjoy. We prepared all of our own meals, but did venture to the local shop in Sheildaig for a couple of supplies. Having visited Nanny's before we couldn't leave Sheildaig without having at least one bowl of salmon chowder but unfortunately we didn't get a chance to sample anything else in Sheildaig. There are plenty walks to do nearby, and of course you do more adventurous hikes in the Torridon Area. We did attempt to get up to see the Triple Buttresses of Coire Mhic Fherchair but just as we reached the waterfall we decided to turn back due to weather conditions (snow and wind). Next time! We had the most wonderful 4 night stay at Mya's and could easily have stayed for two weeks. The area is abound with beauty, and Mya's place is the perfect base to return to after some local exploring. If weather allows - be sure to do the drive over Bealach Na Bha from Applecross, and also take the coastal road over to Applecross for stunning views of Raasay and Skye. Couldn't fault a single thing. Book your holiday here, and make sure you give yourself enough time to really enjoy it! Thanks Mya!”

“Very nice house. Most suitable for 2 people, as there is no door between the rooms. The kitchen equipment is very extensive, mobile data, however, there are only in a small area above the spiral staircase. Unfortunately, we found the detailed tips for many attractions later. All in all, our stay at Fearnmore was very nice.”

“Lovely little cabin, cozy and tucked away. The cabin was warm and everything functioned as it should. The shower is great, the fridge had plenty of space. We saw chickens and deer near our cabin which was amazing. The area is lovely and quiet. Nearby walks were amazing. Christine met us at the car park and walked us through the cabin’s features which was very much appreciated. Friendly and welcoming. Would love to come back.”
