Flexible and responsive host. People in our group of 6 said it was wonderful and beautiful. We found instructions for the hob. So glad we booked here. Grocery store in town was good.

Penarwel Lodge is a fantastic cottage with a wonderful garden. We were there as a family with 2 children and felt right at home. The kitchen was very well equipped, everything you need! You can make very nice excursions, e.g. to Glendalough, Glenmalure, Greenan Maze (farm & labyrinth - definitely try the scones in the cafe - a dream!) or Avondale Treetop Walk.

Had a veery nice and relaxing stay in Kathleens house in Avoca. House was very central to the village and was a very well laid out and comfortable place to saty with everything we needed for the time we were staaying there. From the well laid out kitchen, dining area, relaxing living room, spotlessly clean bathrooms and comfortable beds everything in the property was great. Kathleen and the local woman who met us when we arrived to let us know how to access the property were always on hand should we need anything though as everything was spot on we didn't have any need to contact them once we were there. Highly recommend staying in this property and would also recommend Kathleen as a host.

I loved staying at the Meadowbrook B&B! My only sadness was that I didn’t book for more than one night! The cottage was comfortable, clean, private, and stocked with all the goodies you would need, including a plethora of delicious breakfast food. It was within walking distance of Rathdrum, and driving distance to many beautiful outdoor adventures. Frances, the host, was lovely and kind and took great care to respond and ensure you were comfortable and had everything you needed.
