We stayed here as a group of 6 girls for a girly weekend and had the most amazing time. It’s our 2nd time staying here and we will definitely be back! The place itself is spotless with some lovely little touches like dressing gowns are made available & it’s a lovely all round experience. Thank you!

What a lovely stay at the Spitfire Nissen Hut in a beautiful location. Very clean and modern and everything we would need on the kitchen. Amy and Jimmy, were excellent hosts and attentive to our every need. The freshly baked warm bread on arrival was an unexpected delight, along with the freshly laid eggs. Highly recommend for a family break or even a couples retreat.

Gwen and Mark were both always friendly and warm on interaction, particularly on arrival and check in. Both were really helpful when it came to warming the hot tub and quick responses if we had any questions. Thank you for a perfect stay ☺️ Alex and Emma

We all really enjoyed our stay and found the lodge itself and the location of the lodge lovely! Nearby to the local village with shops, a few pubs and restaurants. Would definitely book again!

A gem on a tranquil river - the perfect hideaway for a romantic weekend.

Comfortable, clean, quiet and very good value accommodation for a few days in Staithes. Everything we needed for our stay was provided. Would recommend to others and stay again hopefully in the future. The sunday lunch in the Captain Cook Inn at the top of the hill was excellent and worth booking.

We had a three-night stay at Louise’s lodge with our two toddlers and dog and it was perfect! Before our stay Louise sent very helpful and clear instructions on how to find the lodge which was great as she advised phone reception can be patchy in the area (I would recommend using the what3words app as location was very accurate!). The lodge itself was perfectly clean, no issues anywhere at all! We were very happy with everything in the lodge, definitely one of the nicest/cleanest ones we have stayed in. Louise was also kind enough to leave a home-baked treat for us on arrival, a delicious lemon drizzle cake, safe to say it didn’t last long! Location was enclosed as mentioned in description, so it was perfect for our toddlers and dog to go exploring. I’m running out of space to give a full review, but we had a brilliant time at the lodge. The location was lovely and peaceful! Our boys were even lucky enough to meet the farm animals which they loved! We hope to be back soon!

Julian and Sarah Jane’s house was beautiful. It was lovely and warm when we walked in due to the brilliant under floor heating. The house was modern and very bright inside. It was spotlessly clean and smelt amazing as well. The house was well equipped, everything was there. All the appliances worked very well. The bed was super comfy and big. Great views from the house and peace and quiet everywhere. Julian had left lots of little extras which were greatly appreciated. He provided warm throws and binoculars, bird books and more. They had thought of everything one may need on a short trip. We were very lucky with the beautiful spring weather and enjoyed sitting on the deck in the sun. All in all, a really good stay. The best Airbnb we have stayed in so far! We will return for sure.

We booked Clive’s lodge as a very last minute break away and it did not disappoint. Absolutely beautiful lodge in a lovely setting. There was literally everything needed for that home to home feel. The lodge is beautifully decorated throughout, spotlessly clean , very comfortable and exactly as shown on the pictures. We thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful setting watching the animals and wildlife. The children loved the play equipment and the animals . Clive and Tracey were the perfect hosts, very helpful and friendly. It was lovely to meet their little girl too. We would highly recommend this beautiful lodge and are looking forward to revisit .
