Very nice house with great views. Clean and equipped with everything you need.

Was in town for a wedding and needed a place last second to stay overnight. Everything was great and plenty of room for the four of us and a dog. Host was very helpful and was an easy stay check in and check out.

We stayed at Matt & Jen's Place at Horseshoe Bay while in town for our son’s wedding, and it was everything we hoped for and more. What a lovely, fun home! There was plenty of space for our entire family, and the variety of games kept everyone entertained throughout the stay. One of the highlights was having a well-equipped kitchen — it had everything my husband needed to bake our son’s wedding cake, which made the experience even more special. The home was comfortable, clean, and truly felt like a retreat where we could relax and enjoy being together during such a meaningful time. If you're looking for a spacious, inviting place to host family or friends, this is it. We are so grateful we found it and would absolutely recommend staying here!

Dont hesitate, go ahead and book with Paul if you ever make your way to Spider mountain. Best spot on the mountain. If you are a mountain bike enthusiast, it's a dream.....literally right outside the front door you can hop on your bike and trek your way up or down the trails. We didn't bring our bikes bc it was a rainy weekend but still very much enjoyed jogging and hiking all the trails. The kitchen had ample cookery so we stayed in and had dinner one night and even enjoyed the AMAZING VIEWS from the balcony facing Lake Buchanon, all from the comfort of the well maintained hottub. I'm picky these days with Air bnb hottubs becouse the last few we've stayed in have been sub standard...usually dirty and not maintained...so I was really hessitant but I must say, to my happy surprise, Paul's hottub was sparkling clean! It turned out to be an amazing 31's anniversary weekend. I would stay here again.

Lake House vibes! Nice, clean home. Great location with Lake LBJ across the street and access a short walk down the street. Bunkhouse is great for the kids. Huge backyard to let our 2 dogs run around - just be careful if your dogs are smaller as there are some gaps under the fence they can crawl under due to the slope of the backyard. Host checked in and was quick to respond.

Decided to stay here for a weekend birthday getaway with three other friends. Booked a day before we would check-in and Nancy was very quick to respond. I was informed access with lift and staircase were unavailable due to the water level of the river, which I was aware of and was perfectly fine with. When we arrived it was in the dark, so be mindful of the map and directions given. The house was very spacious, and was well kept. The kitchen had all the appliances you would need, and the bathrooms were very clean. The views from the screened in porch just a few yards away from the main house were breathtaking. We loved the pool, and we couldn’t say enough how it was perfect size. We were already trying to decide when we would like to return

It was our 1st Christmas family holiday trip. There was a lot for our kids and grandkids to do and room to play. The house was spacious and very comfortable.

What a wonderful experience you will have if you are fortunate to stay a few days in this beautiful property. EVERYTHING is first class, the property, casita, pool, breakfast, the views, I can keep going. But most of all, Roger and Mary, they never make you feel like a visitor and always wanting to make sure that you are comfortable. Travis was an exceptional host. He was quick to communicate if anything was needed and offered multiple amenities. The space itself is very private, great for photos especially around the lake, it's just you and nature. If the weather wasn't so cold we definitely would've hit the water. Hadn't ever heard of spicewood before, but would come again! Thank you again Travis!

What a awesome beautiful place . We had a great time from check in being so easy to check out, no problems. Very peaceful very relaxing pool was a plus and the view was beautiful. Morning walks with the deer was so cool. We will differently be back . Thank you to the host for making it pleasant.

From the time we booked until the time we left we had nothing short of great service and communication. Which is most important to me. The place was beautiful and we’re very pleased. We would absolutely book again.

We rented this cabin on the fly (literally) my husband and I were looking for quick getaways for a much needed vacation and time away from the norm and it was my bday weekend as well. We had never heard of Burton, TX or Log Country Cabins and are both Texas natives but we are so glad that we came across it on our search and decided to give it a try. The cabin itself was just as described and looked like the photos online and the location of the cabin was amazing. The views were amazing, access to the lake and creek for fishing was just steps away from the cabin and the common area and peaceful park were just steps away too. The weather was perfect and it was not peak season so it also felt secluded and private and not too crowded which is what we were looking for! We had an amazing time disconnecting from the everyday and re connecting with each other! We enjoyed every bit of it & will be returning soon!!

Had a great stay here! It was a little hard to find as we arrived at night, but the stay was definitely worth it.

If you want to see the stars at night, the prairie sky, or just hear the coyotes wail Deep In The Heart of Texas… THIS beautifully redone “Tiny Cabin” is the perfect choice for a couple’s get-away! A beautiful place to eat on the porch, as well as inside, it had a fully equipped kitchen, great bathroom, and super comfortable bed!The hot tub, is an absolute perfect addition to the cabin. My experience while enjoying this picturesque and tranquil getaway was stellar. When I say that, I mean everyone from the Host to the wonderful lady who came to clean, we’re all absolute gems! But my hat goes off to the maintenance master, Ayron! If you could personify Marble Falls, and how friendly and welcoming the area is, he is the man to do it. Helped me out so much I won’t even try to explain. Bottom line, this was as good of an AirBnB experience as you could possibly have! The place, the people, the price, all perfect! Go enjoy this gem if ya get the chance!!

This place was amazing! My whole family had a good time, from the little one to the teenagers. The cabin was perfect and had everything we needed plus lots more. Judy has put so much thought, care, and effort in perfecting the cabin and thr amenities. We could not have asked for a better cabin, environment, or host.

Beautiful and peaceful location. Close to Inks Lake State Park, Kingsland, and the Perissos Winery. Great place for kids and dogs.
