“A lovely, well-equipped apartment with a beautiful outlook over the water. Great communication with Jan from get-go, so checking in & out was simple. Well located for exploring the area, especially with Carrick on Shannon close by for shops etc. The apartment was warm & cosy, and the kitchen had pretty much everything you'd need for creating your meals there. Really good value for my stay, and would very happily visit again.”

“Great home for large groups between beds and bathrooms, as long as stairs aren’t a bother, in a central location in Carrick on Shannon We were able to cook and host a Christmas dinner for 10 people in the space too, and we came from America. Philip was always virtually around responding to all messages promptly. Highly recommended”

“I can't say enough good things about Castlefore Cottage. We checked in for a long term stay and we have no complaints. Immaculately clean with food in the fridge to start us on our stay! Geraldine and Noel are super kind, responsive, warm. Answered texts and phone calls right away and always asked what they could do for us. Lots of lovely places to walk near by...canals and a lake. And there are places of importance to Irish history 5-10 minutes drive like Sheebeg Hill and Fenagh Abbey. Nice table with chairs to sit outside in nice weather. The washer with indoor and outdoor clotheslines made it easy to keep our things clean. And, our beloved dogs were welcome as well, which was very important for us. 5 stars!”
