Lakeside Cottage is a cottage situated next to the rural village of Aughnacliffe Co.Longford. Suitable for Singles, Couples or Small families. We are next door to Leebeen Park with its beautiful playground and lake and a short 2 minute drive to scenic lakes of Lough Gowna. Lovely spot for fishing lovers and kayaking.1 Minute walk/drive tothe local pubs/shops and a short 5 min drive to nearby villages Arva and Lough Gowna. 15 minute drive to Longford Town and a 20 minute to Cavan Town centre.

Beautiful area for walking & fishing as Cavan is renowned for its rivers and lakes. 3 New stables available to rent separately and also Toddy’s Hideaway studio is new on same grounds sleeping 2 and can be rented also.

Riverside Cabin | Cavan Lakes | River Access

A peaceful cabin set beside the River Erne for friends, family and anglers alike, surrounded by lakes and quiet countryside. Inside it's warm and well considered; wooden floors, two compact bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Guests love the covered veranda, sunset views, and on clear nights some of the darkest skies in Ireland with the Milky Way visible overhead. Perfect for fishing, kayaking, wild swimming and exploring the Blueway with plenty of space for dogs to run.

Peacock House

The Peacock House is located within the Lismore Demesne. It was once the dairy and workers cottage. From the 1980s onwards it was used to house peacocks, giving the cottage its name. After being left dormant for 80 years it was lovingly restored three years ago. These days it is a bright and cozy cottage offering tranquil views of mature trees and park land. There is private access to forest walks along the Doney Stream just outside the doorstep.

Erne River Lodge

Erne River Lodge is a beautiful Scandinavian style lodge on the banks of the River Erne close to the bustling village of Belturbet in County Cavan. A cosy wood burning stove, magnificent Buschbeck BBQ, two covered decks and an enclosed private outdoor hot-tub area provide a relaxing end to a busy day outdoors. Superfast 500mb wifi/broadband along with "work from home" stations in both bedrooms make this property a complete package.
