Absolutely wonderful stay in Swallow Cottage, spacious and well appointed rooms, bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen, looking out over the fields and hills. Lots of wildlife around the place and chickens on site which our eldest boy loved. Harvest and Dave were great hosts who were very responsive and helpful. The home made cake on arrival was a lovely touch. The cottages are in the middle of rolling fields but near enough to lots of places within 40 mins in beautiful Northumberland. We even caught the train to Edinburgh one day from Berwick(1 hour door to door). One of the best places we've stayed and wouldn't hesitate coming back.

Loved meeting Fliss, Tim, and their gorgeous dog Archie! Instantly warm and welcoming, they made us feel right at home. Archie’s an absolute sweetheart too!

This is quite simply a majestic stay, facilitated by the most helpful and entertaining host! The interior is a perfect mix of traditional and modern, providing all the amenities you need while connecting with the history and heritage of the castle. The shower is simply epic - you could stay in there all day! And the kitchen has that holy grail of Airbnb’s - sharp knives! In fact, it has all those other things that you need to rustle up a meal that other Airbnbs forget beyond cutlery and crockery, e.g. cheese grater, garlic press and measuring jug. The fire roars with a crackle to soothe your soul in the comfy sofas. The icing on the cake that makes this a truly wonderful stay is THE most entertaining and witty set of house instructions. Not only are they utterly comprehensive, they make you laugh out loud. And it’s not a one off. We tested our host’s patience with questions about things in the instructions. He was charm personified, witty and always helpful. Incredible stay. Book it!

The cottage was a slice of heaven! Such a beautiful cottage inside and out. The surrounding area was so beautiful and so peaceful! We felt right at home straight away, Craig was super helpful leading up to our stay which was so appreciated! Such a perfect getaway location, in an amazing location (30 mins drive from most areas we wanted to visit!) We're hoping to book another stay in the future!
