Houseboat vacation rentals in Columbia River

Very unique with a great location and view. 7 minute drive to town and grocery store and coffee stand within easy walking distance. We ate out in town this time but there is a grill on the dock that would be fantastic for burgers and enjoying the water. Comfortable and clean inside, no wifi but that was part of the allure and plenty of cell phone signal strength.

Fantastic place on the ocean with an amazing view, seals swim in the « garden »! Good household equipment 👍

No TV or stove but was okay with microwave and hotplate provided. Everything was very clean and easy to follow directions were provided. I enjoyed sitting outside on the rear deck in early morning and at sunset. Very quiet and peaceful.

This was a fantastic experience. We loved the houseboat- very clean and spacious, well-appointed, incredible views, great location, easy walk to Lonsdale shops. I would recommend to anybody!

We had an amazing and memorable weekend on Deanna's houseboat, filled with lots of time in the water and exploring the lake. Deanna suggested we bring a tent or sleeping pads for our group of 4 guys, and that suggestion worked out perfectly. The houseboat itself was ideal, and we made great use of the paddleboards. While not the fastest boat on the lake (maybe the slowest?), we actually really enjoyed the relaxed pace of our exploring and spent plenty of time stopped to swim. Overall we loved the boat, and would highly recommend booking if you want a unique lake experience.

Thank you for sharing the lovely space with us. I had visited Cowichan Bay many times in the years I lived on Vancouver Island, but never stayed there. We slept right on the water, clean quiet and private, with an amazing view of Cowichan Bay. Our host recommended the Vine restaurant, a short 2 minute walk away. Also amazing. I highly recommend staying at Danielle's place on Cowichan Bay.

This is a stunning location with views of ocean, city, wildlife and dreamy sun rises! We can’t wait to come again! Our arrival was a little confusing with the different locks and gates because of being out on the docks, but once you have done it one time, it’s easy to come and go!

It was really nice of you ~ ~ ~. I think I'll never forget the scenery I saw when I first entered! It was a house that overwhelmed it, even though the road to the city was a bit blocked during the commute. Even a cute and adorable cat!

The houseboat stay was soo peaceful and relaxing. The views in the evening and morning were over the top. The boat had a home feel that made it soo warm and cozy. Highly recommend and thank you for letting is stay with you😇

The home is lovely, modern, spotless and is even nicer than the photos, and the location is exceptional! Located on the water in a very charming, quiet, safe and secure marina in North Vancouver. The Marina is located on the fabulous North Vancouver Spirit Trail and is walking distance to everything you need! We would definitely stay again!

We've already booked again and since we are now planning to move to the area, will plan to have guests and family stay here, also. George is fantastic! the home was beautiful and has a killer view with direct water access. It is peaceful and serene and I highly recommend it. If you're going to the Portland area, stay here! you will fall in love.

We found the place cozy and very comfortable. The location was nice for walking or taking the Victoria harbor taxi. The craftsmanship and clever use of space in the tiny boat home is inspirational and we really enjoyed our stay.

Cute little cottage on the water. I do wish it was warmer to so that we could’ve kayaked or paddle boarded around in. The location is great because it’s away from all the people and the city but within a 10-15 minute drive to it all. I would definitely stay here again especially when it starts Warming up outside 👍

We spent a lovely couple of days at Otter House and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We especially loved the peaceful location and the experience of being right on the water.
