Holly Ridge Cottage is a charming standalone cottage on an old mountain homestead. Originally built in 1878, it has been recently refurbished while maintaining the original character. Located in Western Watauga County, we are on a quiet road only 15 minutes from Boone and Valle Crucis. This is a farming area, quiet and serene with the Rich Mountain range in view. Welcome to our home!!! We are a half-mile from great skiing at Beech Mountain Resort which also has snow tubing, snowboarding, downhill and cross country skiing, and ice skating. And that's just winter activities!!! In the summer there are countless hiking trails, fishing, nearby tourist attractions and almost any activity you can think of! A fire pit has been finished and there is kindling and wood available at no cost. There is a separate freezer in the storage room that guests may use.

The Loft is a 800 SQFT Rustic Urban Design with 1 Bedroom 1 Bath has an open floor plan, Large windows throughout the home with breath taking views of the Mountains and trees surrounding the Property. The Back Porch is totally private with a Sectional Sofa to enjoy the evening breeze or to watch the sunset. Back in side we have a full Kitchen with all amenties of home, Dining Room, Living room with plenty of space to relax and watch TV, And a large Bedroom with adjoining Bathroom.

Cabin in Valle Crucis

Our log cabin nestled in the “High Country” of North Carolina has been in the family since 1979 when my grandparents, looking for a place to retire, moved here after falling in love with the area. The cabin was originally built in Virginia but was moved to Valle Crucis in the 1950s. Our dream has been to turn it into a peaceful mountain get-away for people looking for a break from the busyness of life to enjoy some time in the valley to rest, relax and explore the area.

The Bitterroot Barn

The Bitterroot Barn is unique small structure with a queen size bed, two twin size beds in the loft. Built by Gary from the show "Mountain Men" on History Channel, it has a Full bath, kitchenette, Roku TV, Wifi, and a Bluetooth Surround Soundbar. There is a gas fire pit, small grill on the porch. If you are looking to experience what a nice tiny home feels like, we highly recommend visiting the Bitterroot Barn. We are less than 7 minutes from downtown Boone.

Our private tiny glamping cabin with loft, outdoor shower, port a John, covered patio with grill and fire pit is located on 40 acres in the middle of a National Park just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Down the road you can enjoy rafting, hiking, fishing, mountain biking, frescoes, paragliding, skiing and waterfalls. Blueberry Hill- Unique A-Frame Cabin near Boone!

The A-Frame on Blueberry Hill is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin that sits on 5 acres made up of rolling hills, 2 small ponds & of course its namesake; a Blueberry orchard. In addition to the king & queen bedrooms, there is an upstairs loft area with a queen bed adjacent to the bathroom, as well as a recently renovated basement with a set of bunk beds and an additional queen bed. We also have a new hot tub, propane grill and large outdoor deck.
