Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Donaghadee

We had a fantastic time. A beautifully presented home with everything we needed for our stay. We’d love to come back in the future. When we arrived in Belfast we went straight to the Titanic museum (only 11 min drive from the house). The next day we visited the Giants Causeway - just over an hour away. Loved it!

We loved our stay at Mast House. It was as atmospheric and quirky as we had hoped - and it was spacious, private, very well equipped, and really convenient for exploring the town. I know Portaferry pretty well, but I hadn't realised that such a large space and relaxing garden area lay behind the front door. We had lovely weather and made great use of the garden for eating and soaking up the sun. We certainly hope to return, and I'd really recommend Mast House to other visitors.

Absolutely magnificent stay at Alastair & John’s place. We stayed 3 nights and wished we could have stayed 3 more. Everything inside was extremely nice and we felt right at home straight away. Could not fault it in anyway, the kitchen space is beautiful and fully equipped. The shower runs hot and the bath is deep. The bedroom is particularly beautiful with the view over the lake and the lovely new bright green growth on all the trees, truly amazing to wake up to, not to mention the very comfortable bed. The fireplace and TV were well used with the comfy couches too. Well worth a stay, would recommend to everyone.

The place was stunning! We can't get enough of the sunroom and the sitting room facing the coastline. We had a very chill stay as the place was very cozy and there were lots of places to see nearby. As an introvert person, I love the idea of self check-in as it was easy and smooth. Place was spotless and everything was working. Even the kids adored the place as they have a playroom with toys too. They have cutleries and cooking tools as well which were very handy. Cheryl was very responsive with our queries. Several friends already asked about our stay as they find our photos beautiful too. Overall delighted to have stayed in their place and would definitely recommend!

We cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was at this home. Everything was exactly as listed and even better. We have never stayed at a place with more that was available to use. The area was so perfect and easy to get into the city centre by bus. The tourist office is directly opposite the city hall so be sure to visit. We must say the people of Belfast are the friendliest, most helpful people we have ever met. We have a warm feeling in our hearts for this city and country. Our stay was epic! Recommend 110%.

Our 3rd time staying in Michael and Sarah’s home! We always feel instantly at home and with a week of indifferent weather it was a blessing to have plenty of space with multiple living areas and of course the games room! We hope to be back again!

A very nice apartment which was clean, quiet, and spacious. Queen’s University is very close as is the Botanical Gardens and History Museum. The host was very responsive and quick with local suggestions. Cons: slightly involved actually getting to and in the apartment building. The BR with shower only was difficult to operate and wasn’t able to get hot water and the BR with combo shower/tub was scary getting in and out of being raised so far off the ground with a glass shield that unexpectedly moved. Would have liked an easier entrance exit situation for sure and less importantly could have used an extra towel. Overall, a good experience but being older will look elsewhere next time.

Beautiful stay. The apartment was very well equipped and clean. Close to local town, within walking distance. Would highly recommend!

Dylan was a lovely host and very friendly. He replied very quickly to any messages. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, modern and beautifully decorated and in a great location. The bed was really comfortable and after a good nights sleep we enjoyed a walk on the nearby beach. We would definitely stay there again… a very pleasant experience!

We stayed in this property for St. Patrick's Day and oh my it is stunning made this trip very comfortable and pleasurable. The decor to the cleanliness of the apartment was immaculate. The way I was communicated with and made to feel so much more comfortable helped the check in and check out. If possible I would have gave 6 stars.

We had a great time staying in Belfast at Mark’s place. Very walkable area, super close to shopping, restaurants and sites. If you want to enjoy the city this is very convenient and comfortable. Great views, too!

We needed a quick booking in Belfast due to an unexpected delay in our flight arrangements. Gary and his team were quick to respond to our request and needs. The apartment is well appointed and location is close to eateries. We were pleased with our two day stay.

such an idyllic location and a fabulous house. we celebrated my sister's 60th birthday here with family. Mariners House was exceptional, so clean spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with with all equipment we required to cook. Great views and so peaceful. I did not want to.leave. Have booked again during summer months. Tracey was easy to communicate with and responsive to any questions I had.

What a fabulous house! The pictures really don't do it justice. We had a fantastic weekend in this grand but comfortable and luxurious house. Cheryl was great, very responsive and was able to provide advice and support when needed. This is a great option for large get togethers and is well catered for dinner parties. The location is situated between The Balloo house for a lovely lunch and the Dufferin Arms for a cosy pint. Highly recommended.
