Vacation rentals with a firepit in Douglas Lake

We really enjoyed our stay at Amy’s house. This Victorian styled and historic home was awesome! The house was clean upon our check-in. The kitchen updates were perfect and there’s a lot of cookware and items that helped us make our family dinners and conversations in the dinning room special! There’s plenty of space to spread out with bedrooms and bathrooms aplenty! Highly recommend Amy and her property!

This Airbnb worked out perfectly for us! In addition, a family member lost something valuable while there, and Lauren’s cleaning crew found it and got it back to us quickly. Highly recommend!

We chose to do an AirBnb over a hotel due to the amount of people we were traveling with. House was clean and welcoming. Everything labeled or instructions left on where to find them. We invited family from the area to come join us for dinner and we had plenty of utensils, bowls, plates, cookware to cook, etc for everyone. Plenty of room for the kids to spread out in the house. Hosts were great, we came in really late, they turned the interior lights on and let us know they turned them on so we wouldn’t question if we were in the wrong place lol. We also booked very last minute and they never once made us feel like an inconvenience for doing so- as a previous booking had that we ended up cancelling for the same trip, which is how we ended up here to begin with. TVs in all the bedrooms made for a great time with the kids falling asleep comfortably (strange places plus super quiet and dark rooms can make it hard for them to fall asleep) highly recommend this air bnb, great hosts and home

Our stay was amazing! I wish we would have stayed longer, so that we could have enjoyed everything that the house had to offer more. It was like everything that we could have possibly needed had already been thought of, and was available to us. We will definitely stay again if we come back :)

Short drive to Pigeon Forge but no more than 5-10 minutes. House was spotless and rooms were spacious. Decorated beautiful for Christmas!

The place was very nice and was even decorated for Christmas, which was a nice surprise! There were beautiful views on the mountains and sunrises. The kitchen was well stocked and surpassed expectations. I was in town to attend the Bronco Off Roadeo in Maryville and Claire’s place was a convenient 15 minute drive to that.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible home, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the experience! We had to book at the last minute, and the homeowner was exceptionally accommodating, making the process seamless and stress-free. The home itself was nothing short of amazing—beautifully maintained, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Communication with the homeowner was fantastic; they were responsive and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. I wholeheartedly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay. It truly exceeded our expectations in every way!

The host was fantastic! I had let her know this was a birthday trip for two of our children and she came by on our second day and left balloons on the porch for them! My fear for this property was that it was a shared home with a studio attached and my small children would be too noisy and disturb the other guests. However, we never received a complaint, so idk if my kids were well behaved or the other guest was just very tolerant. That is my only thing I would caution others before booking is if they are traveling with small children and how noisy their kids may be. I felt like I was constantly “sushing” my kids for fear of getting a noise complaint, like other reviews stated. However, this is not the fault of the host, just my own anxiety. The home was clean, well stocked, and we loved the theme. My kids thought it was the coolest airbnb ever! We were able to enjoy pigeon forge and Knoxville and the host even had recommendations for local spots!

Such a great stay! The cabin has a few apartments so to say, and they are super cozy! You get that cabin feel and the views are amazing! We loved the location. The place was very clean and had everything we needed.

We had a short stay but it was comfortable and convenient to the interstate. Would stay there again if driving through the area.

The Farmhouse was amazing! The rooms are spacious and inviting. The decor is beautiful. We loved everything about the space. The best part for us was that the Farmhouse wheelchair accessible so my parents could join in on the fun that is Pigeon Forge. We can’t wait to stay here again!

Martin and Nikki made us feel right at home. Had small items ready to use like snacks, coffee, etc. so we didn’t have to immediately run to grocery store. We had lots of privacy. Apt was so close to UTK and downtown - very easy to get to places we needed to go. PS. Tepulo Honey is a highly recommended restaurant!

We never got to stay at Lara’s place due to the hurricane and not being able to get there but I seriously can’t rate a host higher. Lara was compassionate and so so helpful. It is hard to come by true, genuine people like this and I can’t recommend their place higher! Thank you for everything, we will never forget your kindness.

We had an amazing stay here! The location is perfect and beautiful. We had a weather issue come up and John was very helpful in helping us navigate through that. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice cozy feel and close proximity to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The only thing that was different than the photos was the bathroom, it felt smaller than the photos made it out to be. Overall it was an amazing stay and I definitely recommend this place!

As someone new to the Airbnb experience, the “Bamboo Hideaway” set a high bar. Well before check-in, Patricia was very communicative, answering all my (very naive) questions and even offered to turn the light on for visibility and security if it looked like my dog “Lincoln” and I would be arriving after dark. Once we arrived (very late, I might add), there was easy access to the rental property for a quick respite from the cold and extremely long drive. Enroute to Virginia for a move, I was driving a U-Haul and towing a very heavy car. The street where parking is allocated inclines from the entrance, and I expressed some worry about parking there with so much weight. Patricia not only quickly responded at the late hour, but walked outside with me to survey the best parking spot. She even messaged the neighbors (whose house I was now in front of) to ensure it was “ok” with them! I had to leave early, so having clear instructions for what was expected at check-out was amazing. A+++++++

Patrick was an outstanding host. He was extremely great at communicating with us, whether it was to suggest a restaurant or simply checking in! His place was just like the pictures, but left one thing out… it was so homey. I told him it felt like a second home to us! We are already planning another trip to come and stay! 10/10 would recommend!

This is now our second year in a row the we have reserved this Airbnb for the weekend. The hosts have been very kind and communicative. I love all the details & thought included in the actual Airbnb from decor to providing spices in the spice cabinet. Hopefully, we will be able to return next year!

Great little cabin, not far from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

We had a great stay! Felt right at home and everything was as described! Such a nice peaceful weekend getaway! Can’t wait to come back!

Very cute cabin, felt very private and peaceful. Had a small issue with the hot tub, but within 30 minutes, Tammy had sent someone to turn it back on. We had no issues after that. The drive up is a little steep, but we had no issues with a Jeep. Definitely recommend bringing a car that would do well on gravel Overall had a great time! It’s about an hour from Pigeon Forge, so it wasn’t very busy or hectic but was easy to go into town for an evening. Would definitely come back!!

The house was perfect! Loved the hot tub and pool table. Peaceful area, and super spacious. I liked that the cabin was not far off of the parkway so it is a short drive to attractions/restaurants. Perfect for a couples getaway! Phyllis was kind, responsive, and helpful with whatever we needed. Definitely one of the best cabins we’ve stayed in and would for sure recommend!

Rhonda’s place is a definitely a hidden gem! My accommodations had fallen through and Rhonda was extremely helpful, responsive, and friendly. My dog and I felt right at home. The area is really beautiful and the location could not have been more secluded. As far as “primitive cabins” go, this setup is the best value you’re going to come across. Also make sure to pet their friendly office bear!

We loved our stay here!! Everything was just as described and pictured. I highly recommend. The views are 10/10. Thanks so much for having us, I can’t wait to book again soon.
