Waterfront vacation rentals in Douro River

Carlos very kindly collected us from the bus station which he didn't have to do, so I appreciate that. He showed us around the town on the way to the apartment and gave us recommendations. I really appreciate it. The weather wasn't good but nobody can do anything about that. Great host and beautiful apartment.

Have you ever stayed in a place that pushed you to think differently? For my husband and I, being in this space for 3 days gave us new perspectives. Yes, it matches the photos — but it’s so much more. It’s futuristic, clean, aesthetically pleasing, comfortable, and easy. It started at the booking and continued during check in when we were: given the detailed tour, got an explain of all the apartment’s features, offered restaurant ideas, and then she shared tips about Porto. The hostess even left us fruit! We’d happily go back and honestly, I wish we hadn’t left!

Awesome view of the city from the apartment! Can’t imagine you’d be able to get a better view for the same price anywhere else in the city. Everything is in walking distance, there are also parking spaces, a metro station and restaurants close by. Only a 10/15 minutes walk to the next grocery store as well. The kitchen and especially the washing machine were also a huge plus for us! Would visit again!

We decided to prolong because we feel well as at home. Mr. José was incentives of elegance and sympathy to welcome us. And Maria always available if necessary. We decided that when we return to Leça here we will try to stay!! Very but very obligated

We had a great time in Avignon. Paulo was very flexible on our arrival time (3 hour late plane) and the explanations were clear. He was kind enough to send me the right addresses and what to do in Porto. The view from the terrace is beautiful and the apartment is very well located, it was clean and matched our expectations.

This is probably the most exclusive Airbnb in all of Porto. The location is one of a kind, and we were awestruck with the home. We loved the views and comfort. The hosts were extremely kind and accommodating: they also went out of their way to help deliver some Amazon packages. We felt right at home, yet, transported to a magical space. Can’t wait to come back!

We had a late flight into Porto and didn’t arrive until after midnight. Maria was super accommodating and met us at the home, taking time to show us around and explain the home features. The home is just as the pictures look, very comfortable and in an amazing location.

I really enjoyed Bruno's place, the host was helpful, he spoke English very well. Wonderful location, great views of great people, close to subway and bolt also commute. Great

We unfortunately never really stayed at José's place, given that at the moment of our stay there was a forest fire pretty close to the house. José provided us updates about the status of the forest fire in a very detailed and proactive way. Given the situation he proposed himself to reimburse us for the first night stay, while we stayed at a hotel. In the end we cancelled the whole stay, given that the forest fire was expected to be active for a good amount of or stay. José accepted that without any issue, which was very much appreciated. We will definitely keep this house on our list for our next stay in Portugal!

Diogo is a great guy, super friendly and helps with everything you need. I spent 2 days kitesurfing and was able to borrow his surfboard on windless days – a great bonus! The accommodation is simple and has everything you need, but don't expect luxury (except the hot tub :-)) The location is beautifully nestled in nature. Perfect for those looking for peace and outdoor activities.

A quiet spot perfect for a surfing retreat on Cabedelo Beach. Very close to the beach, with several options of pedestrian trails. Marta is an excellent host. very friendly, helpful, versatile and proactive. Highly recommendable

Bad weather didn't disturb my calm stay at Aguda's beach. Close to restaurants and the train station (Porto 20min), Aguda is a perfect spot for a rest, with the place right in front of the beach with fully functional facilities (including washing machine). Elisa was very reactive and attentive, which was greatly appreciated.

We had a great time both at the house and in the area. Maria José is a sweetheart. Very attentive and kind.

The view was absolutely amazing! We liked the layout of the unit with a balcony on the street and a bigger balcony with the river view. It was close to lots of great places with a short walk to Port houses, the park for sunsets, the bridge to the super busy Riberia neighborhood. It was ideal to stay in an area that has action in the day and quiets down at night.

Had a lovely time at this cosy apartment, overlooking the beach. Daniel and Elisabete were very helpful hosts. It was very quiet in the area as it's the off-season but the weather was lovely and it was very relaxing.

Pleasant housing with all amenities for a good stay. A very well equiped kitchen. Great balcony with a very beautiful view. We always got parking just outside the house. The only less positive point to mention is the route to the beach, which on foot becomes a little steep for someone who has more difficulty moving, but is bypassable with alternative routes or even the use of the car.

We have never experienced such a well-maintained, clean and well-equipped apartment. It corresponds 100% to the photos. There is a large underground parking space. The landlord Manuel proactively took care of it and asked several times if everything was okay. The location is right on the main beach of Esmoriz, only separated by the shore road. However, it should be noted that at the end of August a fair takes place directly in front of the house with appropriate volume in the afternoon and evening.

Angelo was a great host, asking if I was ok or needed anything, with just the right amount of checking in. The apartment was kitted out with everything you could need to be able to drop your bags and start enjoying your holiday. Only next time - don’t put me in charge of the plants . 😊

We spent two weeks in Portugal traveling extensively and staying largely at comparable AirBnBs. Ana’s is hands down the nicest, cleanest, and best value of any. We love cooking and her kitchen is very well equipped, the best. If you don’t feel like cooking try “a Peixaria” right around the corner, a simply awesome seafood restaurant.

What an amazing Airbnb!! The perfect place for relaxing and exploring Baiona. The view is incredible, would definitely stay here again!
