Monthly Rentals in Dunham Massey

We are a retired couple from Scotland with a wee collie. We were looking for a new “base” for extended trips to lymm as our son, who stays there, has just had a new baby. We can thoroughly recommend Little Gem cottage. It exceeded our expectations- very warm and homely, quiet but close to amenities. Cottage had lots of thoughtful and artistic quirks to the building itself, but also garden and lovely interior. Access to the garden was great for our dog, and we enjoyed local walks close by. There’s a local “cook” shop for those who know the frozen food company and we also enjoyed Sunday roast in the Crown close by. Ed and Cat were extremely helpful and easily available We would rate this within our best Airbnb experiences and will definitely be back!

This was everything we needed!!! My husband was running the marathon so it was just going to be a place to rest our heads for an early start… but this was so much more than that! Debs took stress from us we didn’t even know we had.. the amenities for starters!! The gorgeous finishing touches, the comfort, the milk in the fridge, the cereal available. I just can’t explain what a godsend this was when we already had so much to think about and worry about ourselves. The place was spotless too! It smelt wonderful, it was cosy and comfortable. It really was the perfect night stay in a very pretty village. I felt like I had gone home to Mums house, only mum was out for the night and left me to it. We left a bag behind too which was so easy to retrieve and Deb notified us promptly so we could go back and get it. Thank you again, we might just be back next year

Amazing home from home stay!

We stayed at Helen’s beautiful place for a couple of nights- it was exactly the peace and tranquillity that we needed before and after the Manchester Marathon. It is spacious and tastefully decorated with Helen’s amazing glass work. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is great. The garden is lovely and the Hobbit House is very sweet! We also managed to fit in a walk around Lymm dam and visits to Dunham Massey and Tatton Park - both are stunning. We would happily stay here again.
