Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Durham

This was my third stay at Ben’s flat for a short, work-related trip. The flat was extremely clean as usual, cosy as described, 20 min away on foot from Newcastle University where I work, very close to HayMarket and the city centre, which is perfect for me. Ben is always helpful and friendly. I would heartily recommend the flat for a single person or a couple !

An enjoyable one night stay for a friend's celebration. The apartment is perfectly located for all Yarm has to offer, and just a short walk to the high street. Everything was as the description, and extremely comfortable. Ollie had thoughtfully left milk in the fridge (both plant based and normal), and there was tea and coffee available. Ollie was available to meet me when I arrived and left, he was an excellent host and responded very quickly when I contacted him the day before arriving. I would recommend the apartment and would very happily stay again.

Wonderful stay, very much recommend. Brill location (we drove & parking was always easy & great for us to see family / get to the beach / the city with ease). Lovely touch Yvonne & Andrew leaving a small milk for us & some very nice cookies. Super kind. Beds were super comfy, lovely quiet area. We will be back.

This largish well apportioned apartment was just the ticket for our trip to Sunderland. Located in a lovely quiet suburb of Edwardian(?) houses the flat is on the second floor of a three story house. Clean and functional it was a convenient ten to fifteen minute walk to the city centre which was ideal. Not far from the Ivy House pub where there is a great selection of real ales and a tasty pizza offering. Key box entry was easy with parking outside in the lane was a bonus. Shower was good also. The apartment was spotless and clean reasonably priced - served our needs well.

Lovely cosy apartment within easy walking distance from the city but in a quiet neighbourhood. Stayed for a couple of nights while visiting the Uni and it was perfect for what we needed. Comfy beds, good showers and everything we needed in the kitchen. Would recommend and would stay again.

Our German intern really enjoyed his stay. The accommodation was very nicely decorated, clean and well presented. It's close to the local shops which he found very useful. thank you!

What a great stay! The photos don’t do it justice it’s absolutely pristine. Really good location with onsite parking was a real bonus. The hosts were really helpful as well giving us a recommendation for breakfast and dinner. If we are ever in the north of England again I know where we will stay, felt like a home away from home.

Would highly recommend this house, near to some lovely places, ate in the local pub, went to Middleham Open Day and visited some super racing yards, visited family and another fab visit to Monk Park Farm where the grandsons loved meeting all the animals!! We will definite be back!!

Ideal hub for myself and kids. Very comfortable, excellent kitchen and fast broadband. Would have preferred a better parking spot as I have a large car and needed to mount full kerb to access parking. I didn’t fancy parking on street as it was adjacent to small junction. Just something to note. Aside from that, very happy. Thank you very much

Peaceful quiet location. Near train station. Clean . Generally well equipped, although a few bits of cutlery and crockery missing but nothing major. Comfortable beds, pillows not to my personal preference as very hard, but overall an excellent stay and I would not hesitate to stay again and would recommend.

We stayed here for a few days and it was really good. Great accommodation and beautifully presented. Fab location in a busy town with lots of pubs and eating places. Fantastic for walking on the nearby North Yorkshire Moors. We will definitely visit again in the future.

Martins Farmhouse is a lovely, spacious house, furnished to a high standard and extremely well appointed. The location is very private and peaceful. We had a great few days with all our family - plenty space for adults, children, baby and dog. Would happily reccommend staying here.

We enjoyed our stay in this property, it was decorated to a high standard and had a good amount of space for our needs. It had almost all the facilities we needed to celebrate Christmas (we needed to buy a few more trays for the oven but that was about it). One thing to be aware of that we missed when booking is that the bathroom is downstairs at the back of the house, behind the kitchen, which was a bit of a surprise as we didn't remember seeing that noted before booking, however didn't cause us too many issues during the visit. The only other thing to note is there were a few minor maintenance issues (missing/dead light bulbs for example) that should be fixed, however again this didn't cause any problems during the stay, just something that could be improved to fully bring out the potential of the space.

Seldom is where we stay one of the highlights of our trip, but this townhouse definitely was. It was absolutely amazing. It was warm and comfortable after coming in from our chilly all day excursions. The beds were comfortable, the house extremely clean and the amenities absolute perfection.

A lovely apartment just on the edge of Gateshead/Newcastle with an easy 15/20 minute walk into town. Great location if you’re looking to go into Newcastle town as you don’t even need to use a taxi but you can for 5minute journey plus there’s easy access to large supermarket too. The only negative would be the water pressure in the building, which isn’t the fault of the owners so I can’t fault them and there’s still enough pressure so I can’t fault the place

Barry and Sue are the perfect hosts, providing a warm personal welcome to this beautiful, stylish and immaculate apartment. An extremely well equipped kitchen, relaxing lounge/ dining area and comfortable beds make it a real “ home from home’ - one we would definitely return to if we were visiting the area in the future. Barry and Sue have gone the extra mile to provide information, maps and suggestions so that you can make the most of every minute! The communal gardens with stunning views is the perfect spot to unwind. Centrally located with a short walk to all amenities and tourist attractions with covered private parking was a real bonus. We would recommend without hesitation: the best Airbnb that we have stayed in. Fully agree with previous reviews.

Such a perfect property for a getaway in Newcastle. We thank Kristopher so much for the stay! The house was gorgeous and spotless, nice and modern with a private garden and hottub. It's on a lovely street and we walked straight into the city centre from here. Check in instructions were clear. We'd absolutely stay here again instead of a hotel next time we visit ❤️

Great flat and location! The local area was lovely, nice walks, pub opposite and shop next door. The flat was an ideal location for exploring neighbouring towns and walking areas. The flat was exactly as described on the listing and Chris’ communication throughout the stay was great

The apartment is in a very good location with convenience stores, restaurants and bars literally on the doorstep. The apartment was also very clean and spacious and surprisingly quiet given its location under the Tyne Bridge and with all the bars nearby. It is an easy walk up into the town so would definitely recommend for a stay in Newcastle. A shout-out for the little cafe literally opposite the apartment called Quay Ingredient run by a lovely lady who provides delicious breakfasts and brunches.

Fabulous apartment with beautiful sea views. Fantastic communication with our very welcoming host. We arrived to lots of special touches which helped us to feel at home from the start! Very comfortable accommodation. Private parking was a bonus. Would definitely book again!

Great stay at the apartment, Karen was an amazing host, she kept in contact with us and met us on arrival. Karen even helped us to carry our luggage inside. The apartment was spotlessly clean and perfect for our short break in Newcastle. Great hosts and would highly recommended.
