Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Gippsland

Ralph & Robyn are the most gracious host's, I stayed in their cabin situated at the bottom of their beautiful cottage garden. It has everything you need for a short stay, they even include provisions for a yummy cooked breakfast & more. All amenities are extremely clean & well thought out. It's the little touches like the chocolates on the bed side tables & a bottle of port waiting for you when you arrive that I really love. This is my 2nd stay at Potters Garden and I will definitely return the next time I make plans to to visit the Hot Springs again, as it's only minutes away which is very convenient. Julie and Jeremy were absolutely amazing hosts and made us feel welcomed in their lovely home. The place was absolutely beautiful like a piece of history restored in time and well maintained. They have the most friendly and cute dogs Dolly and Roy who are an absolute delight. We also had a good time with the ponies and Ziggy the horse. Highly recommend for a peaceful gateway.

Loved it here, will stay again next time I'm heading down to these parts. I had a 2 hour drive from Melbourne airport in a rental car, landed at 11pm. delays pushed my arrival to this Airbnb till 2am. I let Glorija know, she said it was no problem, she met me in person and was super friendly. Wish I could have chatted some more. The place was lovely, easy to park the car, right outside the back door. The town is lovely. I'm picky about showers and beds, and this was definitely top tier.

We found Christine & Barry to be very responsive and accommodating with our needs. The Canvas Barn and the Tiny House (Bedford) were perfect for our group of 3 families with kids aged between 6 and 12. Even though there was no TV and limited wifi range, there was plenty to do on the property. The kids were kept occupied with the old cash register, tree house and game boards supplied while the adults enjoyed each others’ company while having a bbq in the communal outdoor dining space. We were fortunate with beautiful weather during our stay and when it got a little chilly at night, the wood fireplace kept us warm. If you’re looking for something different and unique, and up for a nature retreat or device/screen detox for the family, this place is it!

Thank you Penny. What a lovely cottage. It was great for our family who attended a wedding at Mount Dandenong. It was private, functional and cosey. Well furbished and had everything we needed. Loved the private back yard. We will come back one day.

We both had the most wonderful time staying at Mel’s, we honestly can’t thank her enough for her kindness, generosity, warm energy and recommendations. Mel went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, we felt cared for and right at home. She made the most beautiful, delicious breakfasts every morning and honestly the food was way better than anything we’ve had at a cafe. My partner is still talking about them… he often mentioned that it was one of his favourite parts of the day and he’d like to book in again just so he could have a lovely home cooked meal from Mel lol. Her place is beautiful, so clean and full of thoughtful extra touches that made us feel very special. We both enjoyed the moments we got to sit out in the cabana during the warm nights having a glass of wine. Thank you so much Mel, we both appreciated how much you did for us. Than you again!!

Such a lovely peaceful place to stay! We appreciated the attention to detail, the good quality linen, very comfortable bed and beautiful surroundings. Loved the outdoor bath too. Highly recommend

We took our adult kids and dog down the freeway to Derek and Marita’s B&B on a hot weekend and found a beautiful, private getaway to spend some family time. Because of the heat the lovely pool was a highlight but there was also plenty to entertain us in the rumpus room and tennis/basketball court :) The breakfast was beautifully prepared and presented and made the stay even more relaxing and special! Our dog had his own spaces and thoroughly enjoyed pretending to be a country dog for the weekend!

Loved every single thing about our stay! The guesthouse is incredible, the people are a dream, the food and drinks down at the bar are impeccable, every thing you may need for your stay is so well thought of and taken care of. I cannot recommend the place enough, and I cannot wait to return.

A really lovely stay at Phillips place while visiting Perisher - so beautiful, very comfy and super clean. We look forward to staying again next year during snow season again!

Sharon went out of her way to accommodate our needs and made many suggestions to assist us with our experience on the island and on our extended journey. We stayed for three nights and would have loved to stay longer, but we had to move on. The space is so cozy and Sharon provides many goodies in addition to breakfast every day. It’s a very comfortable and quiet space. The garden is a special treat. Awesome stay!

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Shaw’s. The atmosphere and décor are stunning, creating a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It’s a place I highly recommend, and I can’t wait to return.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Maples in Olinda. The accommodation was spotless and beautifully furnished. Attention to detail was apparent . Located in a lovely area ; within walking distance to shops and an amazing restaurant. A friendly and helpful hostess. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Leiana had incredible communication, and the little touches included in the room such as a stocked fridge really helped us during the bank holiday period when the shops were shut. Highly recommend

Rosemarie and Vaughan were very proactive at messaging and making sure our stay at Bellarophen Farm was perfect. It was such a beautiful location and a well set-up, cozy loft, which was generously supplied with breakfasts foods and amenities all as described. This is such a lovely, peaceful place if you are needing some privacy and a stunning scenery to unwind.

As we were staying in Heathcote for a wedding, the accommodation really wasn’t the central focus, but we were amazed when we got to the unit! It smelled incredible, was clearly spotlessly clean, and had absolutely everything you could need. Bathroom was huge which was great for getting ready for the wedding, and the bed was so comfortable after a long night of dancing. Big thanks to Anne-Marie for being so accommodating with check-in and check-out too, absolutely 100% recommend this stay!

Lovely trip, the place was really nicely designed and laid out, very spacious for a bedroom and bathroom property and really nice touches everywhere made us feel right at home. beautiful surrounding property and views and some good places to visit including waterfalls and wineries nearby. would highly recommend

Georgie and Doug provided a wonderful place to stay that was clean and comfortable with a wonderful view and nature to go with it. The bird life was incredible as was the presence of wallabies, echidnas and other wildlife. It was conveniently located for all my holiday needs and the hosts went above and beyond with their hospitality providing breakfast, coffee, tea and everything else. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to the area wanting a great place to relax and explore. I look forward to visiting again. Leo Skowronek 5 stars
