My friends and I really enjoyed our time on the farm. Anya was a great host who gave us a very informative farm tour. This is hands down the best camping spot on french island!

Sheltered Glamping Phillip Island - 'Adèlie' tent

AlexandraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
If you like falling asleep to the sound of the beach, then this is the place for you. A cute tent with everything that you need, very clean, and an incredibly comfortable bed. I loved having a cup of tea in the morning as I watched the geese, magpies and kangaroo enjoy the land. The compost outhouse toilet was a struggle for city gal like myself, but that's more on me than the toilet itself. Clear instructions, great communication and a wonderful experience. I recommend this glamping experience.

It was absolutely amazing to stay for two nights. Great location: restaurants, farm & maze, cable cart, and everything else. Fully equipped and lovely laid out different functionality have helped a lot: sunset look out, lake canoeing, cooking and showering. Smooth check in and out. Spacious tents and very peaceful. Will go back for sure.

Very nice cabin, and will definitely head back. Our fault, we arrived late and missed out on more time at the park but our kids and pets were very comfort and had a great nights sleep.

A true gem in the Snowy Mountains. Nonie's place is set in beautiful surroundings and is a luxurious way to experience the region. The amenities and comfort exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to come back again later in the year.

Kalaru camp

Just like staying at a lovely friend’s farm: they’ve set up a cosy tent for you on their stunning country acreage, and made up the 4 single beds inside it with warm doonas and pillows, plus a torch. We had the most peaceful sleep in the magical setting, and were treated to a morning of feeding the resident farm animals (our 12 year old especially loved this!). Ordinarily we’d think ~$100 is a lot to sleep in a tent (especially considering we are frequent campers), but the work and dedication they put into making this a comfortable stay makes it worth it (and honestly money better spent than at a hotel chain!).

Glamping @ Balla Balla Farm Stay

MarikoRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Upon arrival, Alana warmly welcomed us and showed us inside her charming tent, as well as how to use the outdoor portable toilet and shower. It was quite a hot day, so we were delighted to take a dip in the pool. My child enjoyed seeing a horse strolling right in front of our tent. :) We were visiting Pearcedale to attend a night tour at the Moonlit Sanctuary, and Alana’s place was conveniently less than a 10-minute drive from there. The nearby IGA and pizza takeaway shops, located even closer, added to the convenience. When we returned at night, we spotted some adorable wild rabbits on the property. :) We also enjoyed a quick marshmallow toasting session at the fire pit, which Alana had prepared for us, complete with matchsticks and firelighters provided in the tent. One large bug managed to get into the tent, which terrified my child—ha! Thankfully, insect sprays were provided, so it wasn’t an issue. As first-time glampers, we absolutely loved our stay at Alana’s property! :)

We loved our time here so much. The beautiful surroundings and the peace and quiet and safari feels were outstanding. We were both inspired. It was a hard place to leave to be honest but we will 100% be back.
