It is nestled within the stunning Northern Pennines (AONB) UNESCO Global Geopark and sits next to the historic Nenthead Mines site, which was once a major centre for lead and silver mining. Mill Cottage Bunkhouse is on the C2C cycle route, it is also next to Isaac’s Tea Trail and only a drive away from the Lake District, making it an ideal base for cyclists and walkers.

Great base for exploring the area. With pubs and coop 5 minute drive or 25 minute walk. Recently renovated to a high standard but still feels characterful and cosy. Underfloor heating, induction hob and super insulated. 2 well behaved dogs only are allowed for a small fee. Sorry no other pets allowed.

Perfect for a couple, the accommodation consists of one bedroom , cosy sitting room, a well equipped kitchen and modern shower room . Mickleton is a small village close to both Barnard Castle and Middleton - in - Teesdale .There are good country pubs close by and scenic walks .
