“We had a great stay at Barry's Lodge and would highly recommend. We were a little unsure whether to go away with the current situatuon but everything in the lodge was very clean and clearly well looked after. The lodge had everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The views from the hot tub were fantastic and gave us the opportunity to chill out!Barry came and introduced himself and gave us some tips for nice walks in the area which there were plenty. We would definitely stay again!”
The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top was newly built in 2019 on the ruins of an old barn and decorated to the highest standards of industrial chic. Situated in a most unique location, high on the Ribble Valley side of Lancashire’s iconic Pendle Hill, it sits surrounded by sheep pastures where hare and fox come to say good-night. Despite this rural idyll, we’re only a five minute car drive from Clitheroe, one of the North-West’s nicest market towns. The views will take your breath away!
“Wow! Amazing location with the most gorgeous views! (Including the friendly cows that made our stay even more incredible)🐮 The chicken shed is immaculately cleaned to a high standard (which is so reassuring during this strange time). And the decor is 5 stars for sure! The bath in the bedroom is a thing that dreams are made of! We can’t wait to come again!”
My place is in West Bradford, a mile and a half from Clitheroe, with great views and countryside walks. Although there are no shops or pubs in the village itself, a fantastic restaurant is just a minute's walk away. You’ll love my cosy, compact cottage dating from the 1730's with an original beam. It is located in beautiful gardens bordering a babbling brook. A private patio overlooks the brook towards fields. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and furry friends (pets).
“Very clean, great location, and peaceful! Andrew and Sue were away for our stay but the communication was excellent. We really couldn't fault it - a lot of consideration has gone in to what guests might need so the space is maximised. Great stay thank you!”
