The closest pub can be found about a mile and a half away, up a very quite road with incredibly scenic views. Also, this is a great location for Harrogate or shopping in Leeds. The cottage is clean and tastefully decorated. Everything (and more) that you should expect from a very good Airbnb!”

If you are looking for something really special in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales this is it.The small village of Litton is a30 minute stroll away and has a country inn serving meals,Grassington and Malham nearby.
What guests are saying:“We had a fantastic time at this beautiful and quaint cottage (with the added benefit of the pool house and hot tub). Couldn't fault the place at all, it exceeded our expectations. My five-year-old niece loved the pool, and we had a job of getting her to get out when it was time for bed! The house has fantastic amenities, and the added special treats from the host were well received and appreciated (wine for the adults and treats for the children). The cottage does feel like it is in the middle of nowhere, but this was ideal for our family weekend away. The two neighbouring cottages were friendly too. The cottage is ideally placed for going on long or short walks in the surrounding countryside. Plenty of farm animals to be seen! We took our own provisions, as the nearest shop is roughly a 20-minute drive away, but the cottage does have some existing provisions (tea, coffee, sugar etc). The towels and robes were greatly appreciated too. The house is well decorated, with some quirky accents (teapots) and really add to the farmhouse/cottage vibes. There are plenty of board games and quizzes to keep you busy on wet days, as well as the games room at the back of the property. The toy/ play area is also brilliant for children, again my five-year old-niece loved it. We would definitely stay again given the chance. Well worth the money!”

Just a short stroll to two popular pubs both serving real ales and home cooked food. Surrounded by glorious countryside and with stunning views Appletreewick makes an ideal base for a Yorkshire Dales holiday.
