Monthly Rentals in High Hesket

We had a lovely couple of nights here in glorious sunshine which I know is just lucky but that made our stay idyllic. Breakfast at the table and chairs just outside by a trickling stream, sheep and grassy and wooded hillside. Comfortable bed and a good shower.

The Retreat Studio was absolutely perfect for us as a base for walks and day outs in the nearby Lake District (35 minutes to Keswick). The location is remote yet you’re not more than a 10 minute drive to a shop/pub. The studio was well equipped, clean and so peaceful which was perfect after a long day of adventuring. We loved walking in to music and lamps on when we arrived - the ideal ambience after travelling and made us feel immediately at home. The bits left for breakfast were a lovely touch and everything about the stay felt really well thought out. I also could not write a review without mentioning how comfortable the bed was!! We didn’t make much use of the outdoor space but would imagine it is a lovely little spot with warmer weather. Judy’s communication was the right balance; we had all the required info and knew she was available if needed. Wish we could have stayed longer but will definitely be back to the studio and other properties 😊 thank you for a memorable stay, Judy!

A beautiful home to stay in. The surroundings were picturesque and perfect for my baby boy to play and explore in. Mandy was very friendly and super responsive if I had any questions. I will definitely book again in the future!!

We booked Caroline’s cottage for my birthday and for our puppies first holiday and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay it was dog friendly, quiet and peaceful, the views were beautiful we felt like home from home in Caroline’s cosy cottage, it has everything you could possibly need when staying away from home the location is lovely and Caroline was fantastic with communication and really accommodating to our needs we will be back in the near future we could not recommend this lovely cottage enough
