Our beautiful shepherd's hut sits in four acres of secluded woodland in rural Hexhamshire. Enjoy the peaceful solitude, with glimpsed views through the mature oaks onto the North Pennines. Surrounded by miles of footpaths, bridleways and moorland, there are walking, cycling and riding options in every direction. Nearby rural pubs offer delicious local ales and fantastic food; or try some home raised, rare breed pork over the firepit grill, then a drink on the raised deck in the evening sun.

Situated in the beautiful Village of Ovingham this accommodation comprises of a large double room with a private bathroom with shower. Attached to the owners house, It has its own front door allowing private access for guests. The room has small kitchenette area with a sink, fridge, kettle and microwave. Alnmouth train station is only a 5 minute drive. From here you can travel directly to Edinburgh in 1 hour. The studio features an open plan sleeping/ living area with a kitchen.

Jessie's Hut

Our first hut (Ben's hut) was so successful, we've built another one !! Set on a working sheep farm, Jessie’s Hut has a double bed with the option of a single bunk above, giving a 2+1 format. There's a shower room and a small kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. Wool-based insulation and central heating keep the hut cosy warm all year. Things to see include:- Beamish Museum (a must see!!), The Roman Wall, Durham, Kilhope Lead mining Museum and The Metro Centre.
