Monthly Rentals in Humshaugh

This was a fantastic place to base ourselves for walking Hadrian’s wall, visiting the archaeological sites, touring Hexham and its wasn’t too far from Seahouses and Bamburgh castle. It was lovely to return to this delightful little cottage in a very peaceful village. The cottage has everything we needed to cook evening meals and was close to some good restaurants.

Zoe was a very friendly welcoming host and showed us into the accommodation and gave some great recommendations for places to eat. Perfect location for visiting Kielder observatory. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was wonderful and was above and beyond expectations. Would absolutely recommend staying here. Thanks Zoe!

Atte Combe was a brilliant place to stay while we explored Northumberland by car, the location is excellent and within 10 minutes to any amenities. We loved the house, especially the decor, and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was well stocked and the shower worked very well. The kitchen also was well stocked with hot drinks and even milk on our first day. Angela even left some lemon cake and cheese scones which were delicious and much appreciated after a long journey. The folder under the table inspired several of our trips, including one to a local curry house! Thank you for a brilliant stay and holiday! Sam, Joy, Andy and Nat

This was a great find, just 10 minutes drive from both Corbidge and Hexam, and within easy driving of Newcastle. Quite remote, and all the better for it, with stunning views across the Tyne Valley. Ideally placed for anyone who wants to ex-lore the North Pennines and Hardrians Wall. Marion with great to deal with, she lives next door and paid a quick visit when we checked in to make sure that everything was okay (it was). The house is in a very quiet location and has a great garden for sitting out in and taking in the views. We would definitely go back again
