Lusa Bothy is a luxury getaway location for couples on the Isle of Skye. It was the idea of the owner to renovate an old stone building into an amazing space with a feast for the senses in mind. The Strawbale Bothy is made from simple, natural materials; wood, clay, straw and lime, there are no nasty chemicals, no concrete, and where we have had to use plastic, it is to an absolute minimum. Garramor Cottage is a modern, one bedroom house . The living room is bright and airy with french doors leading out to the deck and woods beyond. Surrounded by trees, it is a very calm and peaceful setting. It is a 5 mile drive to Mallaig where you can get the ferry across to Skye. Local beaches such as Camusdarach Beach with their white sands are great to explore and just a short walk away.
