Vacation rentals with lake access in Kyoto

As I saw in the photos in advance, the exterior, and interior were beautiful, and I was surprised by the cleanliness that exceeded my expectations.The entire room was carefully cleaned and well organized, and we had a very pleasant stay.The water around the toilet and bathroom was also perfectly cleaned. There were plenty of toys for toddlers in the room, and the children had a pleasant time without getting bored.It was also very helpful that we were able to park two cars on the premises. Regarding the surrounding environment, it is every quiet during the day and at night because of the residential area.There is a supermarket (Heiwado) less than 10 minutes on foot, so I don't think you will have any trouble shopping for ingredients. Overall, there was nothing frustrating about it.To put it bluntly, there was only one large size frying pan for the number of stoves in the kitchen, so it was a bit of a hassle to navigate multiple dishes at the same time.But this is a minor point. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay, and we had a wonderful time thanks to the host.This is a great facility that you can confidently recommend to others for cleanliness, amenities, and convenience.

this is a most amazing place we have ever stayed with air bnb, kitchen is equipped with all necessary cooking stuff and even various seasoning, bedrooms are superb.... Children have plenty of space inside the building and backyard for running, the space is more than enough for our 12 people group. ......... Perfect.......

Our stay at Yamashita’s beautiful 100-year-old Japanese villa in Kyoto was the perfect way to end our 2 week vacation in Japan. The house is spacious, very clean, and well-equipped, perfect for our group of 12. It has everything you need and more. It has a serene garden, jacuzzi, and sauna—the kids especially loved the jacuzzi! Yamashita is an EXCEPTIONAL host—very warm, helpful, and accommodating. She drove us to supermarkets and places we wanted to go and even picked us up for a small fee. She prepared simple yet delicious breakfasts. She was quick to respond to messages and even guided us on using local buses. Though the house is a bit far from the touristy areas, the peace and quiet of Yamashita’s home made it the perfect retreat. It offered a more authentic and relaxing experience of Japan. I highly recommend Yamashita’s villa to anyone looking for comfort, culture, and outstanding hospitality. And to anyone looking for a truly memorable stay in a traditional Japanese home.

This was one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed in! Brilliant location, walkable to the lake and easy to get into Kyōto on the train. The house itself is lovely, it feels like a traditional Japanese home but with charming little details and tasteful décor. All very comfortable, quiet and clean. Momoko and Tsutomo were very welcoming into their home. They provided clear and concise instructions in their messages before arriving into their home so there were no difficulties or surprises arriving into their home. Their home is very convenient for both Lake Biwa and also Kyoto by car as it sits in the mountain range between the 2. It was also very convenient for the Enryaku-ji Temples. Would recommend anyone to stay here if you need to visit these places.
