We would highly recommend this wonderful accommodation! We loved the historical building conveniently located right across the street from the train station. The interior is updated, spotless, inviting and very comfortable. The kitchen has new appliances and everything needed to cook meals. The beds were also very comfortable, with lovely linens. We particularly appreciated that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Richard met us at the home and gave us a warm welcome and the information we needed for our stay. He was very responsive to any communications and made sure we were well cared for. Our week in Morpeth was made ever so much more enjoyable because we had such a great place to stay--thank you, Richard!

Barbara's house in Morpeth is beautiful. It is a perfect place to stay as it is a home from home, equipped with everything you need, extremely comfortable beds, in a quiet location and all within a stone's throw of the town. Barbara could not have been more welcoming, meeting us at the house to show us around and how to work everything including the fabulous AGA. Her very generous welcome basket of goodies was much appreciated. She provided us with lots of information about the area and checked that we were settled. We knew that if we needed anything she would respond immediately. I would not hesitate to recommend Barbara's fantastic home to anyone visiting Morpeth. I just hope it is available the next time we journey up north as we would love to stay again. In fact, we would love to move in!

A peaceful and relaxing location with spacious and well equipped accommodation. Elaine was there to welcome us with local advice and information. The fridge was stocked with a selection of tasty treats including home baked ham that was delicious and a jar of lovely homemade jam. The bed was comfortable and the shower was huge with lots of piping hot water. We thoroughly enjoyed our few days away celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone seeking a quiet and restful staycation.

Close Quarters is a lovely place to stay. Very clean and nicely presented, peaceful but very well situated near Morpeth town centre. Ideally situated for exploring Northumberland. Would 100% recommend this Airbnb property.
