Craigieburn garden bothy is a glamping-type single room bothy in a lovely 6-acre garden in beautiful Moffatdale, a great location for walkers and cyclists. The garden has woodlands, waterfalls, wildlife and exceptional planting for you to roam in. The bothy has no mains water or electricity so is a real alternative experience, with separate flush toilet and washing facilities. Otherwise all home comforts are provided with double bed, kitchenette and wood-burning stove to create a cosy atmosphere

Our off-grid Shepherd's Hut offers a peaceful retreat on the edge of a working farm. Set on the banks of Loch Patrick in SW Scotland, our shepherds hut sleeps two, has a wood burning stove and beautiful views. Bookings are from Friday to Friday. 2 king size bedrooms, one ensuite with a further 2 single beds and wc on the mezzanine level. A bathroom with shower over the bath. Fully furnished kitchen with washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher. We have a dog secure garden and a shed to lock bikes in. We are between 10/30 mins from 3 of the 7stanes cycling trails and 6 miles from several beaches or hills for walking. You are 5 mins drive away from the market town of Castle Douglas.

Nearby there are parks, stunning walks, shops, restaurants, pubs & supermarkets. Kacey-Faye is ideal for couples or families looking for a relaxing short break or a longer holiday. The local area boasts stunning beaches, beautiful country walks & for mountain bikers the 7 Stanes world class mountain biking centres.

Coach House @Slogarie Rewilding humans since 2019

A traditional coach house and stables, The Coach House has recently been beautifully refurbished. From kitchen to bathrooms, loos and laundry room, everthing is fresh and new. It is spacious but cosy and the living area comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests. Dogs are welcome and there are good facilities for cleaning and drying them after a good walk. Set in the heart of the Galloway countryside, the house stands alone by a small loch with an island and a boat.
