Getaway in Taganga: Air and bath 40 meters from the sea

Super close to the path that leads to the beaches of Taganga, away from the noise and nightlife so we could sleep quite easily but very close walking to everything you need. They have quite tasty breakfast options, a beautiful view as soon as you leave the room and quite comfortable hammocks to rest. 100% recommended and we will certainly come back!

Had a pleasant stay at Joachim's. Palomino is worth a visit and what about the beach! Joachim organized me a jungle outing and found someone to wash my clothes. He is very friendly and always there to help. Lunch is excellent and hearty. Wifi and air conditioning works great.

Bamboo Tree House - Air Room

Location can be tricky to get to, but for us, that was part of the adventure. Not sure it would be for everyone. This is a very open house concept and since we visited during the rainy season, it was very damp. We live on our sailboat, so none of it was not new for us. If you aren't in for a unique nature forward experience, then its not for you. Waking up to the sounds of the birds and river flowing was amazing! Weather was cool at night which was great and there is a waterfall not far. The little town of Minca was super cute and quaint and we ended up finding our way to a SUPER unique spa basically in the middle of a jungle . Lots of shops and restaurants there as well. But the best part of this place was tala's cooking. She uses a lot of ingredients from her land or from Colombia in general and is very creative. I generally felt better after eating there for a few days, was very clean cooking and a lot of veggies. If you want to see a vlog of our stay here, search for sailing too short on YT.

This Bed and Breakfast was so quaint and peaceful! From the time I booked until the time I left, Celine the host was attentive. Celine MADE our stay in Santa Marta worth it. We speak very little Spanish and she was patient with our google translate as we spoke over our cooked breakfast. The host also set us up with tours and gave great recommendations. She allowed for an earlier check in for our bags, due to our early arrival! Over all this place was very accommodating and the breakfast with fresh juice was delicious!

Frana Lodge Tayrona - Hummingbird

Frana Lodge is a beautiful place, a real authentic hidden gem. The hike to the lodge is a little challenging with your bags, but well worth it! Crossing through the stream is actually refreshing on a hot day and adds to the whole experience of the location. Once you arrive, you can relax in the hammocks, greet the pets, and have a cold beer or a very tasty icy fresh fruit drink. The lodge itself is perfectly clean, offers spectacular views, lots of local trails, and it’s walking distance to Tayrona National Park. Franz took a lot of extra time talking to us about things to do on our short 3 night stay, offering suggestions including a really great local cocoa tour. He also arranged onsite massages. They offer breakfast & delicious dinners for a small fee. The food is 100% fresh and homemade. Lunch is not offered, but you can eat lunch when you’re out during the day nearby. It’s the perfect place to relax & get away. Thank you, Franz & staff.

We really liked this place, the communication with those who were serving us. They made us feel very pleased. The place is perfectly located for hike to the beach or trunk, we had a shop right next door for the moments we had lazy going out and they had almost everything in it. I would definitely come back

Silent room! No noise from the street, which is rare in Colombia. Cozy room equipped with minibar, SmatTV with DirecTV: all main channel within my reach, I loved it !!! Bed big and conformable. Nazly was very friendly, helping me up what ever I needed. Definitely I recommend this place!

Luz is an incredibly friendly and attentive woman. She welcomed us with a warm smile and made sure we felt comfortable throughout our stay. She was always available to answer any questions and offer local recommendations. Additionally, Casa Baloo is a very nice and conveniently located place with an amazing view.

Room very well located for visiting Tayrona Park. The hotel is very charming. Indeed it is a little noisy but you can't have peace and at the same time the proximity to the entrance to the park. The staff who work there is lovely (Thanks to Jarol and Veronica's son who gave us great advice).
