We really appreciated staying at Marion & Jeiser’s place! Please note this review is for their other, larger cabin which we ended up staying in. Communication was smooth and Marion was extremely helpful and kind with travel recommendations. The cabin is spacious (again note this review is for their larger cabin, not the one shown in this listing), we loved the tranquility being in the banana grove. Location in the neighborhood is pretty good & quiet—quick walk to a lovely river, and 5 min bus ride to Los Cocos beach which is quiet and pleasant. Not too many restaurants within a quick walk, but we appreciated Marion’s cooking. We are so glad we stayed here with a local family rather than one of the resorts on the beach. It is really too bad how large hotels/resorts have almost totally restricted beach access for locals. Thank you so much for the hospitality and thoughtful recommendations of places to go!

An absolute gem! Spacious, comfortable and perfect for friends and family. We spent our time playing cards in the open living area, walking up to Mundo Nuevo for some drinks & pool time, and enjoying the sounds of the birds. We also had a delicious supper next door at Trekker, and enjoyed the coffee tour at Finca La Candelaria. You maybe want to take a 4x4 up and down the mountain, as it is quite a hike. The views are breathtaking & the provided coffee is as great. I would love to come back here!

Peaceful and perfect place! The premises are well-maintained and the food is excellent. The staff is very friendly and attentive! Thanks to the reception for explanations in French! Several activities! Thanks to our guide for the waterfall tour and for the coffee tour! He speaks slowly to make himself understood. Thanks!

The location was amazing. We could hear the waves crashing it was quiet enough away from the main road. The beach was right there, pool was awesome too. We seen lots of wildlife which was amazing. The property manager was very friendly and nice. We will definitely return again . Thank you 😊

My wife and I came here for my birthday weekend. The included breakfast in the morning was always fresh and delicious. The menu had multiple options for lunch and dinner and snacks. We loved the whole fish, the pasta carbonara, and the margaritas! The service was absolutely phenomenal! Mari was so sweet so attentive and helpful. She was our favorite part about this spot! Everyone was so nice and made our trip relaxing and comfortable. You dont have to worry about anything while you are here. They even sold us bug spray, arranged transportation, and offered to arrange delivery if we needed anything. The rooms have hot water, beautiful large windows, and a mini fridge full of goodies. The pool is perfect, we took long nature walks around the grounds, did the paddle boat, enjoyed the petting zoo, and even went kayaking. We 100% recommend coming here for a relaxing care free time.Thank you for a perfect weekend!

The estate is beautiful and has a spectacular view. It is located an hour and a half above Minca. The owners offer coffee and cacao tours to anyone passing through these trails so there are always good conversations with tourists... accompanied by a good cup of coffee. All the people are very dear and treat one with a lot of respect. They offer dinner service (15mil) and clothing service (15mil). There are drinks too, so it's not missing anything. Thank you so much for this beautiful experience. I highly recommend it.

Absolutely incredible house in the cloud forest of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Amazing architecture with breathtaking views of Santa Marta and the Caribbean Sea. If you are looking for a private secluded spot to check out and really enjoy natural surroundings this is definitely the place to go. Short drive to the awesome mountain town of Minca with lots of hiking..great restaurants..and laid back vibe. Esteban was onsite to greet us and overly accommodating. Incredible guy who was there to assist in any way possible. One recommendation..if you are renting a vehicle ensure you have a 4X4 for the last mile up the mountain road to his house. I was able to make it with a smaller suv but have experience in driving those types of conditions so not recommended. You can also park at the base and get a ride up if you prefer. Highly recommend booking this place and will go back!!!
