Monthly Rentals in Maligar

The house surpassed our expectations. Located off the main road and it feels really peaceful and private. We can hear the sound of the sheep almost all the time and our daughter loves it! Upon checking in, the host informed us that we'd be the first to enjoy a newly furnished furniture for the bedrooms which we thoroughly enjoyed. The fireplace was also a delightful touch, and the host was kind enough to leave firewood for us. We really felt at home and definitely will return. Thanks for hosting Hugh!

We loved the Staffin cottage. It was cosy, clean and had terrific views over Staffin Bay, and had a well equipped kitchen. The nearby Staffin has a shop with essentials in it and its close to the Quiraing which was a highlight of our trip. Mark and Katherine were very friendly to deal with. Would stay again.

Words cannot describe how amazing this place was! This was probably one of the best places we have ever stayed. The views were spectacular and we loved the privacy and being away from all the crowds in Portree. Watching the goats from the deck every morning and evening was so fun. Stargazing from the deck was also a highlight. The location was fantastic and served as a great home base for exploring Skye. Kristie and Gordie also had welcome snacks and food for us which was so thoughtful. Highly recommend booking here!

We had a lovely stay. The location was great. Walkable to Kilt Rock and Staffin Dinosaur Museum and only 15 min drive to the Quairing. Great for getting ahead of the crowds. It was a great base for exploring the North end of the peninsula. Bathroom has the cutest tiny sink, but it really is tiny! Hosts were friendly and helpful.
