I've stayed at Calley's places many times. You can beat the ski-in/ski-out location. She has made some nice upgrades to the units over the years and always does a great job with the communication. Her property manager is a great guy and is very responsive if issues arise. You can't go wrong staying here.

Great place to stay at. Nothing beats being able to just walk out of you back door and be on the ski hill. Has everything anyone would need plus more.

A great location. In walking distance to a ski lift. The place was clean and it was awesome being able to have a fire in the fire place. Peter checked in with us in person to see if we needed anything. Also, he was very responsive to a couple questions I had prior to arriving. We will be back.

Good spot, nice place for the price. We had a small mix-up with getting back in, but Tim was very responsive and got it handle immediately.

This is a very nice and spacious place in a convenient building whether you are skiing at Black River (which is ski in - ski out) or Jackson Creek Summit which is only 10 minutes away and has easy parking. Calley is super responsive and easy to work with.

Calley is a really great host. This place is clean and comfortable with two full bedrooms and bathrooms. It’s super convenient to Black River. True ski in / ski out. Easy drive to Jackson Creek and other local areas. These are some of the best accommodations in the area with a great host. Highly recommend! We will be back.

Really wonderful place. So beautifully curated. Just fun, and welcoming. Eric was great at communicating everything. It worked perfectly for our trip through the UP, close to the beautiful Porcupine Mtns and all things Western U.P.

Hemlock Haven was an absolute gem to stay at. The place was very nice, with really nice furnishings and very well stocked. The drive in is just gorgeous and very private. We walked our dog off leash daily and never ran into anyone. Felt like we had the world to ourselves. Fishing was pretty good too. We caught walleye, perch, northern and a few small Muskie. Bob was so helpful and gave us lots of tips and places to try out. The out door deck in the back is so cool and where we spent lots of time cooking, eating, and listening to music. We never turned on the tv once! It is tight to go up to the master bedroom which is accessed by a spiral staircase. We stayed in the bunk room because we didn’t want to leave our senior dog downstairs alone in a strange place, so we had to bring our luggage upstairs as there really isn’t anywhere to put anything downstairs. It was impossible to get my luggage up but managed to move some stuff around and make it work. This was the only negative! 5 stars!

We were able to unwind and relax. There was a large picture window facing the lake. It was not unusual to see a doe with her fawn eating clover through the picture window early in the morning. We played pool in the evening and hung out. There were trails we explored and we hunted mushrooms. We mostly just took pictures of the mushrooms. We left the mushrooms for the wildlife to eat. There is always something to do at the Ruffed Grouse Lodge. Or not if you just wish to relax.

Great location and house. Beautiful sunsets across the bay. Air conditioning was helpful for two days. Kelly is very responsive!

Well decorated cabin and good sceneries around!

Another memorable stay at Bo Di Lac lodge. Our third year and probably the best yet. Truthfully, we were very nostalgic and sad to leave this year. This has become a special place in our hearts with great memories.

The stay was perfect for a quiet getaway that we were looking for. The sunrise views were gorgeous. The cabin was very clean. We look forward to coming back again and hopefully for a longer stay. Scott was a great host and very flexible and we appreciated the hospitality.

Stayed in the area numerous times, but this is the first time at this location. We had a snowmobile group stay for an extended weekend and the house catered to our needs very well. Although a little slow with communication, our host was very polite. Also the driveway of the location catered to our vehicles with larger trailers very nicely. Would consider this location again.

This is a great stay especially if you travel with dogs. If you're looking for somewhere to stay with classic vibes this is the place for you!

Collin's place was perfect for our family Christmas! Such a nice spot tucked away in the woods - perfect for stargazing! We even saw eagles and a family of otters playing on the ice. The house had everything we needed for our stay and check-in and out was a breeze. I'd love to come back in the summer to enjoy the lakes!!

Felt very lucky to find this place. Thank you to Jen and her family for providing such a great space at a price manageable for even a single person to stay. I especially love the organic farming practices, and how she carried that mindset into the guest space. From the organic soaps to the high quality linens, she had it covered with a very holistic feel. Looking forward to more stays at Jen’s!

Our family of four decided to book a few nights at Sandy Point Resort for a place to get away between baseball tournaments and we are so glad we did!! We booked our stay at the Karibu cabin several months back. At the time, all of the other cabins were already booked. Karibu is the oldest cabin on the property, and also the only remaining cabin from the original five, but this place has been taken care of throughout the years and felt cozy despite its age. Just a heads up, the cabins at this resort do not have air conditioning, but the temps around this area are usually pretty mild with plenty of trees for shade. You really can't beat this place with all of the added amenities that are included with your stay. For disc golfers, this place is perfect with its 27-29 hole disc golf course complete with two or three baskets per hole and large pro shop. During our stay there was also a random doubles league night to join in on. Our boys really enjoyed the lake and spending time with the kayaks and paddleboards and jumping off of the rave bouncer in to the water. We even had a calm, clear night to view the milky way and see the stars reflecting off of the water. Michele and Mike topped off our experience by being such amazing hosts. We can't recommend this place enough for a relaxing and fun getaway to the Northwoods!!

The week we spent surrounded by nature and tranquility was restorative. Listening to the eagles, ducks, geese, and many other birds chatting while we sat inside with great views in every room or went kayaking, paddleboardinng, swimming off the swim platform, or just hung out on the deck or the pier kept us in awe of our surroundings every day and night. Walks along the road were spent admiring the trees and native plant life. It felt like home from the moment we arrived as we enjoyed all the comforts the house had to offer from a well-organized kitchen, roomy dining area, and a comfortable livingroom, as well as great bedrooms and baths, all tastefully decorated in a northwoods theme. The 5 of us had enough room to be together or apart. Tonya was instrumental in making our stay a perfect one through communicating with us prior to the trip and throughout the week by quickly aswering any queries we had. We would love to return next summer.

I cannot even express strongly enough how perfect this Cabin is, the scenery, the lake, the well appointed Cabin was absolutely comfortable and amazing!

Very kind, caring, and passionate owners. Helen and Jim were always around and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. If you are looking for a peaceful, beautiful place to stay, their property is perfect for that. Adding on dinner with them was a great choice as it was home cooked, and absolutely delicious. We will definitely be looking to stay here again in the future!

We had a great week of vacation and would definitely come back for another stay. The house is very cool and a nice blend of rustic and modern. We had 7 adults and 2 toddlers and the accomodations worked well for our needs. Jon and Angie are very friendly and very responsive to a couple of minor needs we needed taken care of. Great location on the chain, close to downtown Eagle River, very beautiful setting, quiet and peaceful spot. Will not hestiate to recommend this house to friends and family! Thanks, Jon and Angie!

This was the second time our hunting group stayed here, and not the last. It is well located for where we hunt. The cabin is clean and comfortable with plenty of space for us to relax when we get back from the woods.
