Charming Coastal Cottage in Ballymacoda

Take a break and unwind at Kevin's Cottage, a peaceful oasis, in an unspoiled, secluded location, a mere five minute walk from Ring Strand and the nearby bird sanctuary of the River Womanagh estuary. A short distance from the breath-taking Knockadoon Cliff Walk and Pier, the cottage is an ideal base for walkers, sea-swimmers and nature-lovers alike. Urban Tranquility Tree

Access to the tree house can be conducted by phone so you don't meet anyone. All contact surfaces are cleaned using dettol wipes and linen is washed at 60 deg. This is a real tree house, fully insulated, 6m off the ground. It faces south with views of the city. It is situated in our garden but screened by trees giving privacy. It consists of a bedroom with a deck at the top level and a bathroom on the level below. Cork city centre is a 5 min. walk. Access to the city is via a STEEP HILL.

The Swallow's Nest

Please don't come here - If you're looking for big city lights, mod cons & public transport. Please do come here - If you're interested in growing your own food, keeping bees, hiking, food preservation, nature, chickens & geese, bats, birdsong & silence (hens/geese/wildlife permitting!). The Swallow's Nest is a tiny barn which sits between Slievenamon & the Comeragh mountains, in the glorious valley known as The Honeylands but is only a ten minute drive from Clonmel, Tipperary's County town.

You are welcome to wander around our gardens, chill in the BBQ area or peek at our vegetable garden. We have three friendly dogs, a cat, turtles in the pond and chickens in the orchard.
