A dedicated workspace with wifi in this secluded, fairytale house. Cruggleton Lodge is off-grid and has its electricity supplied by solar panels and a back-up generator. There is no TV and guests say that this improves their holiday. From 1 May to 30 Sept, there is a heated outdoor pool and tennis court on the estate.

The cottage sits in a tranquil valley, a mile from the sea. It'll be just you, the wildlife and the view, within easy reach of beaches, rocky coves, and hills. The house is in an enclosed half-acre site. It sleeps five in double, twin and single bedrooms. The kitchen/living room are open plan with log burning stove and WiFi.

From the spacious conservatory, guests can relax, take in the stunning views towards the Isle of Man, look out for the family of otters who live by the sea, experience spectacular sunsets and star gaze. For the more adventurous there are lovely walks, cycling tracks, water sports, horse riding centres and top notch golf courses in the area. You’ll need a car to explore but there are local taxis for pub visits!

Spacious beach house with private enclosed garden, ample parking area with private access down to the beach. Well equipped for family life. 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms. TV and Wifi. Plenty of games and books etc for the young ones. Carrick Bay has plenty of opportunities to fish, swim, walk, cycle, sail, canoe, windsurf or paddle board. Or of course just chill with a cold drink and stargaze. Friday check in, 3 night minimum booking in winter months and minimum 7 days from April to November.

Longhill is a rural getaway, surrounded by farmland, yet only a few minutes drive from the nearest town of Whithorn. It also boasts a number of beautiful beaches and walks on it's doorstep, plus charming harbour towns and Scotland's National Book Town, Wigtown. There are plenty of places to explore and visit, or you can simply cosy up by the fire, have a ping pong tournament, nap in the sumptuous beds or read in the garden. There are films, games and super fast fibre optic broadband.

Small child friendly, travel cot, high chair etc available. Short drive to beaches, Galloway Forest, hills and coast. Five minutes from Wigtown, handy for the Book Festival. Great for bikers, cyclists, walkers, bird watching or relaxing. One well behaved dog welcome, please advise us before arrival.
