Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Northern Finland

We came to Powerpark for a summer vacation with two families. The stay was selected for this home-like comfortable home for three nights. The home has plenty of room for two families (4 adults, 4 children). The accommodation has both clean towels and a cloth and other bedding. There was no need to carry your own. The kitchen has everything you need. The kids had a lot to do, and adults loved the countryside. Accommodation with football goals and balls, trampoline, molkky, etc. A well-stocked playhouse for the little one in the family. Only 12min drive to the store and 15min to powerpark. We found everything we needed and the vacation went very comfortably. Next time we will book accommodation if possible for the whole week. So much for everyone to enjoy the trip. Highly recommend. Very lovingly furnished AirBnB in a great location. Walking in about 10-15 minutes you are in the city center and yet the location of the accommodation is very quiet. The kitchen was super equipped and it was very cozy. There were cozy slippers, a fireplace, and a selection of games. The beds were very comfortable too. We had a great time and highly recommend the place. :)

This place is perfect. Has everything you need, jacuzzi, sauna, fully stocked kitchen and perfect location for seeing the northern lights. There is a grocery store within walking distance as well. Hosts were incredible. You will have scored if you stay here.

Great place, great location, car was parked right at the door (3m) away. The space was tastefully decorated and much better than a hotel. Sheets, beds, covers all clean and luxurious. The cleanliness was second to none. We had a family of 5 people visiting and there was a potty for the kids, 2 high chairs, a tub for washing the kids, a children's bed, and toys. Definitely we'll come back if you need to come to Kokkola with the family. I also recommend anyone to ask. I'll also be visiting for all my work trips in the future.

The house was spotless and warm with clear instructions. Everything had been thought of and we felt very much at home. It was so close to town and the grandchildren spent so much time sledging in the area which has some great places for sledging. Kristian was very helpful and I can see why he is a super host

We were very comfortable for a week, Tania was very helpful, loving, kind, she welcomed us and explained everything to us in detail, she helped us with everything we needed. The house is very clean, very well equipped with everything, the location is very good, we will definitely return.

Such a wonderful host, extremely helpful and ready to assist. The home was lovely it truly made our Christmas magical, thank you so much I would most definitely recommend this lovely house.

The apartment was really nice and cozy and in a good location. We found everything we needed in the apartment, and the small child and dog were wonderfully cared for.

We only stayed a short time to break up a long drive. After a hiccup with airbnb sending me the wrong lockbox code it was resolved quickly and everything else was great. The place was very clean and the 2 bedrooms worked great. I would recommend this to anyone staying in the area

Absolutely outstanding stay! Laura and Antti were fantastic hosts—super communicative and made check-in effortless. Their cozy, warm little home was the perfect retreat after exploring Rovaniemi. To top it all off, we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights on our very first night! Every detail of our stay was amazing, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

Kari has been so reactive giving us all the information and then, once we arrived, she’s been welcome and kind. The apartment is in avery good position and the apartment experience in Rovaniemi has been super cool!

This was one of the cleanest and coziest homes I've stayed in. Silja pays attention to detail and provides a well maintained home with amenities and thoughtful details. Silja was flexible with check-in & out times and was very communicative. Loved my stay!

We stayed here for 4 days and it was so easy to get around and close to restaurants. It was clean, tidy and warm! After a day out in the cold it was always nice to come back to at the end of the day. 100% would recommend this apartment! Joni was great at responding and clear instructions on everything.

The location of the AirBnB is ideal – central, yet quiet, so you can easily walk to everything. The apartment was clean and well appointed, and the sauna was a great extra, especially after a cold day outside. What I would like to highlight here is the communication with the hosts. Whether for questions or small concerns – we always got a friendly and helpful answer immediately! We are very satisfied and had a great time in Rovaniemi!

This was an excellent apartment for our trip. We stayed for the weekend and it met all of our needs: walkable within the city and a very good value compared to the hotels. The hosts maintain a very clean apartment with all of the amenities that we needed. The sauna was very nice. Instructions for entering the apartment and building were crystal clear. You could use buses to arrive from the airport, but it is easiest to take a taxi from the airport - FYI. Highly recommended!
