The house is a piece of art. Every concert is filled with love. Everything is first class. This is the best Airbnb I have experienced in Japan. I would recommend this house to anyone who travel to Kyoto.

A pure sanctuary to relax and rejuvenate. The location is at the top of beautiful and quiet Koyodai. The combination of the warmth of Sachiyo’s and Justin’s hospitality and the impeccable design of their home and the meals unmatched in terms of quality of ingredients and flavor was perfection. I am grateful for the simple touches of care and creativity each day. I felt welcome and so happy. I look forward to seeing them again. My heartfelt thanks go out to them.

Great place. So incredibly kind. Good location. Clean. I will say look up what a traditional Japanese bed is before booking. A lesson was learned. But that is on us! Very sweet folks. Wish them nothing but good things and success. If you are looking for a peaceful place to retire after exploring the city. It won’t get better than this.

Ten minutes on foot from Osaka Station. The mattress was firm and comfortable to sleep in.

😍Well all comments about Tanaka san and his wife Machiko san are true but can't really describe how this people are simply amazing, wonderful and so generous. The japanese style house is so cozy with everything for us. The Tanaka homemade onsen is so relaxing...even more after a wagyu bbq night with a glass of japanese whisky (thank you Tanaka 😉). Thank you Machiko for your breakfest plenty of love and flavor. Thank you for your help with our laundry. Last comment (more usefull), house is just beside of bus stop (seriously best way to travel in Kyoto). The bus stop is a city bus but also JR bus stop include with many JR and JR west pass.

I absolutely adored my stay here! The room radiates authentic Japanese minimalism with its tatami floors– it felt like a serene oasis. Everything was impeccably clean and thoughtfully arranged, making it incredibly comfortable. The hosts' hospitality truly warmed my heart; they anticipated every need with such grace. My mornings became magical sharing breakfasts with Mama. Our conversations about cultural nuances and travel stories bridged continents – her wisdom sparkled brighter than the matcha we drank! I’m already imagining showing them around Shanghai someday, returning the kindness they’ve shown me. An absolute must-stay for anyone visiting Kyoto! It's enough for 3 people to stay. Breakfast is provided every morning and it's super delicious. It is also convenient to check in with a friendly and friendly host. The accommodation is also very tidy. It is located in a quiet area, so it is suitable for resting.

This guest house is will be the best choice. The host tommy is very kind and mindful. He speaks english very well, so someone who didn't speak japanese will be satified. Also, the domitory bed was very nice. It's cozy and comfotable. And Tommy will give you breakfast If you request. The toast was tasty. I recommend this guest house, you will not regret your choice. This place is beautiful, peaceful and close to nature. Miyuki is easy to communicate with and responsive. The place is super nice, very clean and neat. The breakfast is simple yet very very homey and delicious. We wish we stayed much longer here. Locationwise is near the Gojo city so plenty of big supermarket, restaurants, etc. Recommended to drive so can explore this area better. We live the peaceful morning walk around the house. Thank you sooo much, Miyuki! Hope will be back here again in the future.

Nice place, except it was a little far away, but you can feel the real experience of staying in Kyoto, better than staying in a hotel in the city

The Sano family perfectly embodies what "home away from home" truly means. My stay was a heartwarming, comfortable, and unique addition to my trip to Japan! Great communication before my arrival. It rained a lot during my visit, but despite the weather, Sano-san kindly picked me up and dropped me off at the station to keep me from getting soaked. I was lucky enough to enjoy two home-cooked meals at their house, they are delicious! The nearby hot spring was perfect for unwinding at the end of my trip. Sano-san was kind to ask about my plans for my last day and ended up taking me to gem shops in and around Kaizuka city to help me find the items I had wanted but hadn’t had a chance to buy. One night at the Sano family's home was simply too short—I truly wish I had more time to enjoy their hospitality and explore the area further. I can't wait to return someday to see their adorable poodle, Vamos, who will likely have grown into an even bigger boy by then. 100% recommended!

This was the best place for a family trip. I was able to embrace the various itineraries of Osaka and relieve the fatigue of the day. It was close to JR and Osaka Metro, so it was convenient to use any tourist attraction. Breakfast is simple but sufficient. The use of the bathroom in Japan was unfamiliar at first, but when I got used to it, it was a very coveted system. I was satisfied in every way.

It was a very friendly owner and the description was very courteous. The information of local recommended restaurants and public baths (natural hot springs) was also accurate. There were also toys for children in the room, and there were attention to detail. Breakfast sandwiches are all delicious, but curry flavors are recommended (laughs)
