Our stay at Ms. Yumico's place was outstanding. The facilities are excellent, better than the photos, the house is very well heated so it is cozy in winter. It has everything to cook even left us ramen. The bathroom is very well equipped even with skin care that we had not had elsewhere. We highlight the good location that allows you to mobilize on buses or train just 5 minutes away. We also want to highlight the human warmth of Mrs. Yumico and her husband who all the time guided us and helped make our stay in Kyoto excellent. When we had a difficulty ( loss of our backpack with passports on a bus) they did not hesitate to help us and take us to the bus terminal to retrieve it. For the above we will be eternally grateful to them. We highly recommend this Airbnb that will make your trip a positive and unforgettable experience.

An incredibly beautiful stay. Spacious, well restored, comfortable, beautiful gardens, and well equipped. My husband loved the house so much it was hard to get out the door! The last morning we discovered a great bakery nearby and the first night in a neighborhood restaurant. We loved our stay!

Overall, a great stay. I let Hong know that I knew the area well so no worries about my stay, so the host let me be. The house is easy to find and in a quiet neighborhood. While my party was only three, it was nice to have a whole house to yourself as everyone had their own space to move around. Not many places where you have a real kitchen and living room. Bedrooms were also separate and on the second floor. The walk to public transit was also short, and the reason why I selected this place. Very satisfied.

The place is very nice. It's like a renewed machiya (a traditional japanese house) a which is what's advertised by the way and it may look a bit weird or maybe a bit dark for someone not accustomed to them. It was our experience just when we entered the house. But that sense of weirdness went away really fast and we really enjoyed it. It's cozy and even though there was very cold outside, we were very well inside. It's well equipped and we didn't have to worry for anything. It's near a Life supermarket where we got reasonable priced tasty food and Nijo station which made access to Kyoto station and other places looks like a breeze. Nijo castle and the imperial palace are near too. We got beautiful memories from Kyoto, a really beautiful city and Hana's place was part of it. Thank you very much!

This Airbnb was a beautiful, traditional style space that was great for our group of friends! We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kyoto!

An amazing stay. Everything was perfect. A very available host. We had everything at our disposal to have a very good time in this quality accommodation in a very good location. We highly recommend it, don't hesitate!

The Host was exceptional, She was very warm, friendly and very accommodating. The accommodation is very nice, spacious and homely. The host kindly left amenities which was useful if you got anything. The bathroom is a standout part of the accommodation , especially if You enjoy using a bath. The neighbourhood is beautiful and very peaceful, there are bus and train services nearby. There are a few restaurants within a 5 minute walk however there isn’t much options. You need to travel in to town for more options which is fairly nearby.

We are very memorable in this house, clean, comfortable and can feel the traditional Japanese atmosphere like tatami and sleep on futon. The location of the house is very close to Arashiyama Station. We are very grateful to Yamano as a host, very friendly and kind, offering to pick us up from the station because it was raining. Giving us delicious snacks and post cards. Very memorable in our hearts for the kindness of Yamano and family.

Stayed at this place for 2 nights, quite comfortable to get around. Quiet and peaceful. Suitable for those who rent a car. The house is clean and comfortable.

The single-family home has a large and cozy space.We arrived late on the day we checked in (more than 10 pm) but didn't expect the host to be waiting for us, and for us to carry our luggage and piercing about the facilities in the house.The house is fully equipped with children's toys and books, a lot of shopping and eating information near the house, the bedroom is comfortable and equipped with charging plugs, the stairs are also equipped with a small night light for the night, and there is a non-slip carpet, and there are towels and hands in the bathroom.There is also a car space for self-driving people.Unexpectedly, there was a welcome letter, which was really sweet.Very good value for money, perfect for the size of a family, will have the opportunity to stay again and also to friends and family who intend to visit Osaka.The host couple also delivered in person when they left!

Overall a good stay. The host was very accommodating and gave us an extra heater since it’s cold in Kyoto this time of year and we wanted the place bit warmer. The host communicated well and even allowed us to check out later with our train time being late afternoon. Would recommend this for 2 guests only as space is kind of tight. Also water in shower didn’t get as hot as we’d like but we managed. Thanks for hosting us!

I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Osaka! This apartment is perfectly located near Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi, and Namba—ideal for exploring all the exciting sights, shopping, and delicious food the city has to offer. The room itself was comfortable, and well-equipped with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The host was friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. I felt truly at home and will definitely be back next time I’m in Osaka. Highly recommend!

A beautiful, small Japanese-style house. Very well located. With the necessary equipment for a comfortable stay. Accessible to public transportation, many restaurants, combine nearby. Also, it's a quiet place. That yes, the staircase to the bedrooms is somewhat steep ( like all the Japanese stairs) would come back!!!

very nice experience, stayed like local people in kyoto. mr mitsuo was very nice and helpful good in english we got pickep up when we arrived and leaved the guest house. very satisfying! thank you very much mr mitsuo for yout great hospitality 🤩

It was much more spacious than the photos The kitchen appliances were well equipped, so it was good to buy ingredients and cook at the nearby grocery store, and the mattress in the bedroom helped me sleep comfortably. Above all, I liked the feeling that I was taking care of my guests and always taking care of them. Even though it was a short two-day stay, we will never forget the beautiful surroundings and the comfortable place to stay.
