Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Provence

We had a great Easter weekend at Mathieu's! The cabin is very cute, the kitchen is very well equipped and it is very quiet with a beautiful sea view.

Beautiful house, charming design and amazing views from every window - perfect size for a group. Great location in centre of Saint Paul de Vence, just a few minutes from lovely restaurants and viewing spots, and great base for exploring wider region. Katie was super helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful home and environment. Great for relaxing and spending some time together with friends and family. The property is near Alba, Barbaresco and not far from Barolo. In just over an hour you can reach Turin. If I have the chance, I'll definitely be back. I recommend it.

The house is very well located and comfortable with all amenities.

Lovely house with lots of charm, spacious. Very beautiful environment; a quiet hamlet with beautiful mountain views. Melanie is very nice, as well as her parents who live next door. The Gorges de la Méouge are beautiful and close by. Lots of beautiful hikes around. A real joy for nature lovers.

We enjoyed our stay at Philippe's place. Her house and very spacious and comfortable with a veranda, a beautiful terrace under the glicine and a pleasant garden. It is in a neighborhood both quiet and close to the center, ideal for visiting Arles on foot. Special mention for Danièle who kindly welcomed us on arrival and was very responsive and available during our stay. We will be back!

Frédérique and Michel were very welcoming from start to finish. The apartment is really conveniently located in the historic center of Aix. The street is lively this weekend but it's worth it in terms of accessibility. I would recommend the place from every point of view!

A spacious top (second) floor apartment above the owner's residence, in a quiet area just outside Argentiere. There is parking for a couple of cars, the wifi is excellent, there are comfortable beds and the place is very well equipped. There is an extensive garden with goats, chickens and rabbits - all very nice. There are also several (four?) dogs. The host is friendly (gifts of eggs, walnuts and chocolate cake) and very responsive - recommended for a tranquil stay.

Elisabeth was quick to respond to any queries about our booking, and very welcoming when we arrived. There had been a leak from the upstairs apartment just before our stay which Elisabeth felt really bad about but she did all she could to make us comfortable and it didn’t impact us very much at all. The apartment is very homely and conveniently located for shops and restaurants in a lively part of town. The kitchen is well stocked with supplies and equipment. We enjoyed our stay and Elisabeth kindly let us stay later on check-out day.

The studio proposed by Adrien is in all respects as described. It is quite suitable for a family with 2 children. Having the sofa in the living room is really no problem as it unfolds in a turn of hand, is very comfortable (160cm wide) and you wake up with a great view of the mountains. The terrace is very pleasant (sun until late afternoon). The apartment is very well arranged and offers plenty of storage. It is very well equipped, nothing is missing. Shops and restaurants nearby, the car stays in the garage. Ski-in/ski-out (a one-minute walk from the building door in April). The parking spot is perfect, very secure and covered. As for the ski area, it is just exceptional for its landscapes and amenities. Finally, Adrien sends a lot of information before your stay and answers questions very quickly. In short: a perfect stay! This is the third time we've been to Mottaret so we know it well. After staying in a disappointing airbnb last time we decided on Francois' apartment - it sleeps 5 easily but we were just 2 - and we loved the space. Everything was as described including the real fire - it was all very well arranged and Francois was helpful and responsive. We loved the ski-in ski-out and the location is perfect because it is opposite the cut out on the nursery slope, which saves you having to ski down the very choppy bit of green just up the mountain at the end of the day. The building is very well maintained and not noisy, as well as having an amazing view from the balcony. We will absolutely be back in a couple of years and will be rebooking this airbnb. Highly recommended!

Wonderful house and surroundings !

We had the most relaxing week at Villa des Lauriers in Mazan! The house is nestled in the beautiful Provence countryside, with stunning views of vineyards and the gentle hills of the Comtat Venaissin. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to Carpentras and just a short drive from Avignon, which we took advantage of. The villa itself is spacious and well-equipped, with three cozy bedrooms (but we only used one since it was just the two of us) and a sunny, fully equipped kitchen. The highlight for us was definitely the fireplace—there’s nothing quite like curling up by the fire after a day exploring the region. The outdoor area is equally impressive. Even though we visited in winter, the south-facing terrace was perfect for soaking up the sun during the day. We also appreciated the terrace and the privacy of the whole property. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful house located on the heights of Agay in a dreamy environment: cork oaks, eucalyptus, laurels etc. Lovely pool very nice during the heatwave!!! Very comfortable accommodation for 6 people, well-equipped kitchen, large fridge. Attention! no air conditioning! Walking distance to Agay beach in 15/20mn. Very good communication with Alexandre. We had a lovely week.
