For us, it was like home away from home. Karen added a lot of extras like milk in the fridge, biscuits for us and our dog when we arrived. She provided everything one would need especially spending time on the beautiful beaches, we needed space to hang our wet things, an outdoor (and indoor) clothes line and pegs. Love the hot water bottles, thankfully we did not need to use them. Karen was quick to respond and flexible with our arrival and departure times. Will definitely stay at Karen's when we visit Northumberland. Thank you Karen.

Just returned from a very enjoyable stay in Rock Northumberland. Fred’s cottage was a great place to be based for visits to the coast and Alnwick. The cottage has been very tastefully renovated, it is very well equipped throughout. The kitchen has an excellent oven and hob. A sunny garden encourages guests to dine outside, weather permitting. Would be happy to recommend a stay at this peaceful country cottage.

We had a great time at Clare’s lovely cottage with our dog. Clare’s communication since the moment we booked was great and she was very helpful. The check in process was really easy and simple. The cottage was spotlessly clean when we arrived and the welcome hamper with lovely fresh bread, A delicious lemon drizzle cake, wine and bacon was a lovely touch. The location of the cottage is excellent, a stones throw away from the local pub which serves lovely meals, The beach is a nice 20 minute or so walk away and is excellent if you have a dog. Overall really pleased with the stay and will definetly be returning.
