I can’t recommend this place enough. Beautiful surroundings, cosy atmosphere inside the house, and a very kind host. If you want a peaceful and calm weekend in the countryside (and just 10 mins drive to the ‘Downton Abbey’ village of Bampton), this is the place! If you are an artist, you’ll find inspiration too. We had a very good time in Helen’s studio. Everything was very clean, and we were happy to have some coffee and things for breakfast waiting for us in the kitchen. One of the best surprise was the neighborhood, we really loved it with the pretty green area, the coffees, restaurants and pubs. There are also a lot of buses going to the city center, it was perfect for our visit. Thank you!

Stayed for work and it was perfect to come back to and chill after a long day! Nice and quiet and out of the way of busy roads so could get a decent sleep! Would recommend

A really great place to stay in beautiful surroundings. We were only there for one night as we had a funeral to attend but would have loved to stay longer. Sandra was the perfect host. Everything was clean and tidy and she had even left some biscuits, milk and a few other bits for us which was really thoughtful. Would love to go back under different circumstances as Winchcombe has so much to offer. Only criticism would be the mattress was too soft and the bed itself a bit rickety, but we would still return.

The apartment was absolutely beautiful, very tastefully decorated (love the artwork) and had the most incredible views across the countryside - particularly pretty at sunset and from the summer house. Julie was a wonderful host and so friendly, checking in on us to make sure everything was OK and giving us recommendations for places to go. I would stay here every time I visit the area!

Fabulous place to stay. I was there for two nights - the night before my wedding and the night of my wedding. It was the best place to get ready as it was so peaceful, waking up to the glorious view on my wedding day is a core memory. Chris was really helpful on check in, despite me being late and not warning him. Would recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful base in that area.

A short but very sweet stay. We have good friends nearby and so will definitely return in future.

A lovely little place which is perfect for dogs. The area had a secure garden, a log burner and plenty of space. The location was ideal for lovely dog walks and the nearest town had lots of lovely country pubs with amazing food.

On top of genuinely getting what's in the description, which is already pretty decent, and a responsive host ready to adjust checkin and checkout times for my convenience, the showering facilities are worth mentioning. a decent shower pressure and hot water temperature is not guaranteed, so it got my attention. Also, amazing towels! I am sure I will be back.

I just needed a break away after a stressful few months and this accomodation was perfect. A great location for hiking, lovely pub on the corner, and a really warm welcome. Comfortable, clean, and really dog friendly x

Christy and family were very welcoming. The Annex is a lovely comfortable conversion in peaceful surroundings. It is very well appointed…every need had been anticipated. A lovely wood burner for extra comfort. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Katie was fantastic and had a travel cot ready set up for my son, she helped carry a bag and made sure we checked in okay. The annex was just like the pictures and perfect for a one night stop off we needed.

Gemma and Mark were fantastic hosts! They gave us clear instructions on how to access the house, and when we arrived, Gemma was there to warmly welcome us. She handed over the keys, gave us a great tour of the property, and shared plenty of helpful tips about the local area and things to do. It made settling in so easy! The accommodation was exactly as described and looked just like the pictures—clean, comfortable, and beautifully presented. Parking was conveniently right in front of the house, which was really handy. One of the highlights was having the Bombay Sapphire Distillery so close by—we could walk there and back, which made for a perfect outing! The surrounding area was absolutely beautiful, with lovely restaurants and shops nearby. We had such a wonderful stay and would definitely love to return! Plus, it’s only a 20 to 25-minute drive to the beautiful city of Winchester, which is well worth a day trip.

Fantastic re visit to this beautiful tiny house as I like to call it, fantastic garden that I have an early breakfast and coffee looking at the sunrise and listening to the birds. Beautiful way to start the day. The home has all you need to have a superb stay and is lovely and warm, kitchen has all you need to cook. Lovely setup for watching the tv if need be on a super soft coach. Bathroom is very spacious with a super electric powered shower. Superb stay, Lorna is always so so helpful and always at hand if need be.
