Monthly Rentals in Sandyhills

An idyllic spot to explore this beautiful corner of Scotland. The place was kept immaculately and very comfortable. Robert was a great host, very accommodating and we would definitely stay here again. There is a beautiful beach walk across the road from the farm which is an absolute must do of an evening or morning.

We had a great stay at Sarahs place. Great location near the beach and also having the pool on site is handy for wet days.

The accommodation was excellent. Although it is situated near to the road, there is no traffic noise. It was a pleasure to be able to hear the birdsong every morning. A lovely rural setting but only 10 minutes to the centre of Dumfries. Honestly, we couldn’t fault it and hope to return soon.

Had a lovely winter stay in the very cosy Jessie hut for a few days. The communal bathrooms and kitchen were just a short walk (~100 metres) up the hill. Elspeth sent clear directions beforehand so even though it's a remote location it was easy to find. Elspeth is friendly and welcoming and was on site nearby if needed.
