The pod is situated on a working croft by the shores of Loch Linnhe. There is abundant wildlife on our doorstep from red deer and sea eagles to pine marten and otters. There are many wonderful areas to explore here from leisurely walks or Ben Nevis being a 25 min drive. Plus the beautiful Glenfinnan viaduct and the Harry Potter train being 40 min drive !

Situated in a private position adjacent to our house, Rosie looks out towards  the magnificent Grey Corrie mountains.

Get away from it all in our shepherd's hut located just outside the village of Connel and only a ten minute drive from the bustling seaside town of Oban. The accommodation is located on our family croft (we live on site near to the shepherds hut) with ducks, hens, Hebridean sheep and our two ponies as your closest neighbours. We are surrounded by abundant wildlife such as pine martens and red deer and have outstanding views over unspoiled countryside towards the slopes of Ben Cruachan.

Nestled within the grounds of a historic private estate, the Shepherd's Hut includes a private, wood burning hot tub and a deck with a fire pit and a lovely view over the estate grounds. The kitchen is well equipped with the essentials, including gas stove and oven, fridge with freezer compartment, kettle and toaster and the bathroom offers a surprisingly spacious shower. Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic, cozy spot in nature.
