Monthly Rentals in Silent Valley Reservoir

Roslyn Cottage was an excellent choice for us as a family of four. The house is absolutely spotless smells great and ticked every box for us. Great space downstairs and spacious bedrooms spotless bathroom and shower. The property has a private yard which you can park your car and one can sit outside if the weather is good. There is a local supermarket and a great fish and chip shop across the street. Newcastle is just 10 minutes away and Slieve Binnian just 5 minutes drive. Everything listed was there and Brian left a basket of treats for us. 10 out of 10.

Lovely place to stay for a quiet break away. We arrived in cloud and it hung around for a day but once it cleared up we could see the gorgeous environment around us. As this place is so close to the hills, it is worth bringing a book or games in case you too get caught out in cloud! House is very clean and peaceful. We really enjoyed our time there. It was great to rest out legs in the hot tub after a day in the hills. The only thing we missed is some information on the locality, a little folder or some flyers on what is around would be great.

We had a lovely stay at Gerry's cottage. It was much more spacious than anticipated, very comfortable for the 4 of us. The cottage was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The surroundings were beautiful with farm animals a few metres from the cottage. Just a few minutes from Newcastle and 25 mins from Newry. Gerry helped with local recommendations too, which was much appreciated.

Absolutely gorgeous location. surrounded by beautiful scenery and looked after by a wonderful host. We were up this way for a family event and the next time we plan to visit? The 1st thing I'll be doing is checking for availability at Genna's A really comfortable home away from home vibe, with one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. We shall be back and I'd recommend this spot to all.
