“If you're considering booking a stay at Joanna's bothy - don't hesitate! It is absolutely perfect and will make your stay on Skye extra special. Joanna is probably the best AirBnB host we've ever experienced; she went above and beyond to make everything perfect including a wonderful welcome package of Scottish goodies including tunnocks tea cakes and smoked salmon. Super comfy bed with luxury linen, and the bath robes make it feel like a five star hotel. Special mention also to their pet sheep, Lamakins. What a character!! We'll definitely be booking again for out next trip to the island.”
Nestled in the heart of the crofting community and Township of Staffin, Culnacnoc, pronounced, coolnacroch, Isle of Skye. This intimate, bajeux bothy is home to a warm, uniquely quaint hut of small yet comfortable stature and is fully equipped offering 5* accommodation and perfectly located within an area of outstanding natural beauty and of significant Historical importance. Perfectly located for the discerning explorer or for those looking to get away from it all.
“My partner and I really loved this little bothy. It was clean and cosy (despite crazy winds overnight - thought we might've blown away Wizard of Oz style) in fact we had to turn the heaters off because we were getting too warm! Everything has been thought of to use the space to its advantage. A lovely little place and easy to find.”
Bed Edra Croft is a recently renovated croft house with traditional exterior and tastefully decorated modern interior. Situated in the Trotternish peninsula in the north of the island, this holiday home enjoys panoramic views across to Staffin Bay and the Quiraing. Deceptively spacious, Ben Edra can sleep four people in a double and a twin bedroom. There is a sofa bed that can accommodate an additional two people. It has a kitchen, bathroom and two living cosy areas. There is off street parking to the front of the property.
“What an amazing place to stay! Big sweeping views of Staffin and the coast. Behold all of Skye from your front door. We could even see the house way off in the distance when we hiked the Quiraing. Cute sheep running around all over. Very cozy and comfortable croft house, perfect to come home to after hiking and exploring.”
