Heating is provided by the oven and two stoves. Electricity is produced from solar energy only during the darkest months of charging batteries with an aggregate. Wood heated sauna in the same building. The outside toilet is composted and odourless. Kainuu nature trips rent electric fat bikes, slippers and paddling equipment.

A lot to use from April to October, for a separate fee. Pets are prohibited. Distances: Tourist center in Ukkoha 26 km. Shop: Poland city center 30 km and Ristijärvi 26 km.
