Great place to hike Blencathra from and close to Keswick and Glenridding for other activities.

The cottage was really lovely. It looks like it has been renovated recently with everything looking new and quite upmarket. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need if you choose to cook meals. It is located in a small village and walking distance to pubs and tracks. Sarah was responsive to any queries.

An unforgettable experience staying here! Was absolutely stunning and the views are breathtaking from a full 360 view around the property! Very easy access to and from Keswick and very easy access to multiple hikes/walks! The cottage is incredible and you couldn’t ask for anything more. Will 100% be visiting again to tick off more Wainwrights, Thankyou so much!

I want to tell you this place is rubbish so it is always free for us to book. It’s perfect for walking, for having a lie in and looking at mountains, 10 minutes to Keswick, well stocked with everything you could need. It’s a brilliant location, a perfect place to relax and the hosts are welcoming and quick to respond to any questions.
