Vacation home accommodations in Umbria

It was a second stay that lived up to the first. The house has charm, character and comfort. The terrace and garden are beautiful places surrounded by trees and flowers and offer extraordinary views. The area allows for various visits, starting with Cortone with its streets and squares, its churches and museums are worth several visits. The hospitality of Irene and her parents, Fiorella and Luciano, is most friendly.

Renata is amazing. We felt very welcome and our little son was even spoiled with a nice farewell gift. Lovely breakfast available and Renata fry a very good egg of eggs! She is happy to help with excursions and advice for the area. She also took us on farm visits to entertain our son. All in all, a really lovely stay where we could have easily spent several days.

Cala and Patrizias house is truly a hidden gem. It is an ideal location for a group trip/big family trip, as the spacious house has plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, lounge groups, dining areas to seat many people, etc. We felt so safe and taken care of, as Patrizia responded quickly to all our questions and needs, and the caretaker Mario helped us with heating and so on upon request. I really hope I can return here some time, the surroundings were just so peaceful and beautiful, as are the house. We had dinner at the local restaurant (about 7-10 minutes walk) in the tiny village the house is located by one evening, which we recommend. A drink at Willy's bar afterwards should be mandatory. We can not recommend hiring chef Samulele (ask Patrizia to send his brochure) enough. He and his souz chef Katia made an amazing Italian dinner with wine-pairing at the villa. He also organized a trip to a local winery for us which was just perfect!

Evaristo's beautiful cottage is nestled very near Assisi, but tucked away in nature just enough to make you feel at peace and on your own. We highly recommend this stay! The olive groves, trees, and open space are great for the soul. It is very quiet with stunning views, and the cottage felt very comfortable and clean. There was a downstairs apartment that was not booked, so we had the entire villa and garden/terrace to ourselves. The gardener did come each morning to water and maintain the grounds, but he was very friendly and unobtrusive. Evaristo is very clear about all of the rules of the house, including payment of the city tax and extra guest fees, but be sure to read all of these details before you book and arrive so that you are not surprised. We highly recommend this stay!!

We loved everything about this house. A very special place that felt like a home. It has a lot of character, and for us it was also very functional. Cooking in the kitchen and working with the beautiful view out the windows were highlights!

Stefano was a wonderful host - very responsive to messages and offered recommendations of places to eat and things to see in Viterbo. The apartment was so cute and cozy!

We had a wonderful day at Paolo and Anja’s apartment. Our hosts were great. When we arrived after a long train ride, Paolo picked us up at the station, saving us the walk uphill with our luggage. The apartment itself was beautiful, on one side of a courtyard within an old medieval nunnery. The amenities were perfect, the bed comfortable, everything quiet and clean. We would like to stay there again on our next trip to Spello.

Beautiful and charming house surrounded by the nature of the surrounding countryside, ideal for getting away from the routine and frenzy. Although we are sure that, for the amenities offered (swimming pool, barbecue, garden) it is even more exceptional in summer, we had a great time. Everything is as advertised. Enzo was very kind and flexible with check-in times. He welcomed us warmly and made himself completely available. A few insects visited us in the cottage, but it's more than normal given the location, it would have been strange otherwise. Overall, a great stay.

Being hosted in Nino's house was a great experience. We found everything you need to stay and the comforts you could look for while on vacation. The house was very clean and cared for in many details and also showed attention by also providing accessories dedicated to 4-legged friends. The kitchen is very well equipped. The directions were accurate and very useful were the suggestions provided by Nino. The photos exactly reflect the place we stayed and the outdoor spaces are very relaxing and absolutely to enjoy. We look forward to returning to the first opportunity

Stefania’s apartment was absolutely stunning, the location is very peaceful and serene. The restaurant and food were incredible and the hosts truly are wonderful. If you’re looking for a truly relaxing and authentic Italian experience this is the place to come. It’s fantastic!

Elisa and Luca were a wonderful hosts. They kindly had a taxi meet us at the train station so we could get into town easier. The space was beautiful with great country views, quite spectacular! Thank you for a memorable and fantastic stay in Assisi. My family truly enjoyed the apartment—it was comfortable, charming, and perfect for our trip. They were incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful with all our questions. We wish them continued success on Airbnb!

We enjoyed 3 nights in this beautiful home. Everything in the home was lovely and we wish we could have stayed longer. We met with Elisa and she shared some local recommendations for us which we greatly appreciated. She also left us a lovely bottle of wine which was very thoughtful. Although Panicale is small, we felt right at home immediately. We loved that you could walk to two little cafes and several amazing restaurants. We enjoyed two wonderful meals in Panicale and our morning coffee and pastry at one of the small cafes. We loved this location and explored several other small Italian villages which were close by. We enjoyed talking to some of the locals and learning more about this charming town. Our stay at Elisa's was very nice and we had everything we needed. We hope to come back.

We were looking for a place to relax and feel at home and so it was. Rooms and clean, large and cozy common spaces. Andrea is a person you feel like you've always known, friendly and helpful. That his passion is music, there are no doubts and he manages to drag guests into his world between musical instruments and amazing records left available to everyone. A place I recommend!

Maria’s place was such a treat for a long weekend. There are many things to do outdoors and for us it was perfect to relax with the sound of nature 24/7. There are many kids activities in the house (toys, games, puzzles$ and the nature surrounding the house is fun to explore! Mini playground is also great just across the street. We enjoyed her hospitality and kindness. Maria was always responsive, helpful, and gave great restaurant and activities recommendations.

We felt very comfortable and were able to spend relaxing days in the beautiful, quiet environment. The region is very versatile and you can make great excursions! The location was also ideal for our dog to run. We are more than happy to recommend the place!

It was one of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed. The house is private, very cozy, and has everything you need. The location is perfect for exploring Umbria. Gabriele gave us a lot of recommendations for restaurants around the place, and those we visited were amazing. We would love to come back one day!

we had an amazing time in piagaro,and Thomas gave so mutch information about the Village and a guide around when we arrived. that was really good. he was also a really interesting and reflected man. We had some really good conversations and I would love to come back to his place. I used the cafe every morning for the morning coffee just to take in the atmosphere in the village with the most lovely staff there . Very well designed place. Modern kitchen, rooms and bathrooms. Nice spot close to restaurants and attractions points. Self check-in was a breeze. Helped accomodate an earlier check-in time. Beds were super comfy. A lot of complimentary snacks and drinks, very appreciated after a long travel day. Washer and dryer was very convenient as well. Items that can bring the experience to a higher level : 1) small couch instead of the two chairs 2) get the shower drain to work better as water puddles after 3 mins of running water.

I've never found many amenities offered in just one place. Eliana was immediately very available to provide us with a camping bed with everything you need and a high chair with great respect for our one-and-a-half-year-old girl. The house is full of children's games and books that my little girl immediately looted! In the kitchen there is a need for tea/herbal tea and pasta, while the bathroom is full of products for everyone! Eliana also recommended activities and restaurants nearby, a super approved place to stay!

We really enjoyed the time in Bellatu de la Contadina. Even though the arrival by car was a little unusual at first, the house is 800 m high and the road is sometimes very steep, the advantages of this fantastic location in Cortona predominate. It's not quite as hot up there, nice and quiet and you feel completely comfortable. You can deal with the animals, relax by the pool or have nice conversations with the hostess Lisa. The atmosphere was very familiar and we would come back anytime.
