Cottage vacation rentals in West Witton

Me and my group of 4 stayed in Jenson Cottage & we absolutely loved every second! We decided to go here for a late birthday weekend away & York town was about a twenty minute taxi away where we spent Friday evening. The host’s were amazing - we had a minor problem with working the barbecue on our second day as it was our first time and the host came to help us straight away, we also got lost as it’s no where near our local area and the host was able to direct us straight to the location. we have made incredible memories and this lodge is fantastic value and somewhere that we will definitely be coming back.

A lovely cottage with beautiful views. Just as described and the pictures did it justice. The hot tub was lovely and the space is private. Our children loved the wildlife, like the rabbits on the garden, the friendly cat and the sheep across the river. Phil was very responsive and is a great host.

We had a fab 2 night stay at Scarlett’s place! The cottage itself was lovely and cosy , had everything we needed and was clean! The bed was extremely comfortable! The hot tub was great it was really nice to enjoy our anniversary weekend away! We were able to order a take away through just eat on our first night and then ate food at the travellers rest on the Sunday and Arthur’s for breakfast today! Scarlett was a great host and even messaged early to say we could check in! Will definitely return 😊

We loved our mini break at Lorraine's place. The cottage is beautifully decorated throughout and very homely, the garden feels very private, even with houses all around. Addingham is a lovely village with great pubs serving delicious food, it is also perfectly located for exploring West/North Yorkshire. Highly recommend staying here.

We had a really nice stay. The cottage was lovely and well kept with great shower facilities and little touches including a welcome pack of local produce. Sharon came to clean the hot tub each morning with the filter being changed between guests, bbq area (with large disposable BBQ to use, birds singing in a sheltered garden. Bathroom and hot tub towels provided, washing machine and tumble dryer easy to use. The beds were comfy and blackout blinds in all rooms. Beautiful surroundings; able to walk 30 minutes to an ice cream farm with play area or drive 5 minutes to Lowther castle

Wow! What a find! The house is stunningly situated amongst amazing views and surrounded by nature and wildlife. We loved looking out across the hills from the hot tub and playing in the field in front of the house and on the swings down by the pond. The village is in close walking distance even with a 3 year old in tow. The cottage itself feels special with beautiful wooden furniture which I assume comes from the timber farm it’s on. The rooms are spacious yet have that cosy cottage feel. The hosts are friendly, responsive and helpful without being intrusive - they were on hand as and when we needed them. Overall, a wonderful 2 night break was enjoyed and we would love to stay here again!

An incredible place, i’d happily live here! Couldn’t recommend it more; clean, quiet yet modern. The space is perfect and beds are comfy. The hot tub is big and warm and it’s a beautiful location. The hosts have clear instructions and made the process smooth. Beyond happy with my stay here :)

A fantastic property with a high quality and luxurious finish. Peaceful, with the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere, despite being extremely close to shops and bars. Stayed with my three kids. Enjoyed the hot-tub and garden. The place was spotlessly clean and all of the appliances worked perfectly. A great sleep in very comfy beds, next to the sound of nature. We have just spent a couple of wonderful days walking up penyghent. Moira's cottage was wonderful. Really clean and cosy and stocked with everything we needed. The walk up to pen-y-ghent starts literally right outside the doorstep which is very handy and a comfortable bed is exactly what we needed after the long walk. Thank you Mouira for your hospitality.

This is a lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings. John was very accommodating regarding our late arrival and the cottage was easy to find and exactly as described. The cottage is very characterful and comfortable, with everything you could possibly need. The garden is beautiful and very private. Thank you John, we’ve had a wonderful stay.

Great location for what we were doing. Hosts very helpful and responsive. Accommodation lovely and cosy, traditional cottage with modern features inside. Hopefully will stay again.

loved Karens place! beutifull old barn with a modern interior. everything you would need for a comfortable stay. we particular liked the log stove made the room really cosy not that you needed it as the central heating was on. gorgeous views from the patio doors. also everything was spotlessly clean. also the lovely hamper karen left with lots of goodies in . definatly top of our list of Air b&b places to stay.

I loved The Loft, it was just perfect. The house was beautifully decorated and had everything you could want or need, lots of lovely little touches made it really special. The view from the decking and the hot tub was spectacular and we spent many mornings and evenings just enjoying the peace and the surrounding views. I would definitely book again.

We booked The Nest last minute and Anette was extremely attentive from the start to finish of our stay. The house was exactly as described & was immaculate. Bed was so comfortable & lots of attention to detail! Great location for exploring the local area. Pub right across the road with good pub grub , Co Op literally paces away& a fabulous foodie pub The Eskdale is a 10 min walk away. Thank you Annette we loved our stay as did our dog !

Fantastic home away from home! Well decorated with nice touches throughout. And one of the comfiest beds I have had in an AirBnB for some time!! Really great village setting, serving as a central stepping off point to explore the wider area. Plus dog friendly with plenty of walks nearby including the castle perimeter walk. Thanks for having us.

We had a lovely weekend at Nicola's! The views of the Pennines were wonderful - seeing all the lambs playing in the morning was very sweet. Lots of lovely walks with waterfalls and rivers a short drive away. Would fully recommend! Thanks for a lovely stay - no issues whatsoever!

We had a really lovely stay at Curlew Cottage for my husbands 40th birthday weekend. It was a great base to explore the surrounding area as we are into our walks. The house itself was beautifully presented, spacious, very clean and had everything we needed. The setting was very peaceful with beautiful views all around. We spotted lots of wildlife which was lovely. We would highly recommend and hope to visit again in the future.

Simon communicated well with us and made sure we settled in. Nice location for our stay and perfect for the two of us and child who loved seeing the chickens on the farm.

The fact that I’m writing this review is a testament to how lovely Joan is and how much I want to support her business. It is a tragedy that our livelihoods now rely on other people’s personal opinions on the internet. However, Joan was lovely and I wish her all the best possible luck. We had a great night.

We loved the cottage, Deb and Tim have created a really special space, in a really beautiful area, could not fault it at all, they’re very helpful and welcoming we felt at home. Would 100% recommend and hope to visit again in the future! Thanks again

Great place to stay! Easy to get to via public transport and very near to the Main Street in Haworth. A great cosy space with amazing views from the garden. We had a great time!

What a beautiful cottage! It retains all the charm of its long history, while offering up-to-the-minute amenities. The kitchen and bathrooms are modern and pristine, with fresh white linens, and everything you need and more to begin your stay. Behind the house is a private garden and terrace, overlooking miles of fields and trees. We found peace and tranquillity here.

Beautiful cottage, very clean and tastefully decorated. Cottage had everything you needed. Perfect location and Matthew was so accommodating and helpful. We will be returning.
